About The Chequers
The Chequers is a pub and restaurant on Southborough Lane in Bromley, and the kitchen covers a pub-grill range from barbecue-flavoured burgers to a buffalo burger with chips, with sausages and mash served alongside peas, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Puddings round out the menu, and table service runs through the room. Families are welcome, and the front of the house takes walk-ins, with bookings available for anyone who wants to hold a table. Seating spreads across inside and outside, so guests can pick a spot in either area. A ground-floor pub on a residential stretch of the lane, it draws a mixed local crowd through the week.

“We have driven past The Chequers many times and Ive said to My Hubby that I would like to have a meal there. Tonight it happend, I booked a Table. My Hubby Mark had a Buffalo Burger & Chips and said it was delicious but messy I had the Sausages, Mash, Peas, Yorkie and Gravy- Sausages were yummy. Can't wait to go back to try a Pudding, Hubby wants to try another Burger. We met the Manager who brought our food to our table she was friendly & made us feel so welcomed. The Staff are friendly too, We changed our minds to sit outside were table number 12 inside. Thank you for a lovely evening M & M ( Nickname lol 😂 Melissa & Mark)”
