  “Amazing looking cakes🤩 and good selection. We had a cooked breakfast which was great. Small version of full English was plenty. Also a sandwich with choice of up to 3 fillings and 3 side salads plus salad leaves. This was huge. It looked beautiful but all a little under seasoned for my taste. The 3rd filling was left off in error unfortunately. Great value however.”

  “Visited today for lunch mainly because it had been so highly rated . The welcome on arrival was very friendly and the menu was bought to us immediately & our orders taken. The drinks arrived quickly but we had to wait 40 minutes for our food - we had to ask where it was ! However the food was lovely , tasty and well presented. We ordered coffee and cake afterwards and a glass of tap water. The coffee came ,about 15 minutes later we got the cake , we had finished our coffee! Never got my water! I really think the service let’s the place down”

  “Wow, what a great find, a little gem of a cafe, pleasant on the eye from the front invited us in for a closer look and we weren't disappointed! We sat in the garden and service from all staff was to a very high courteous standard. Faultless. The atmosphere both inside and outside was great. We had the small breakfast option, served all day, and was agreeably the best we've had comparative to where we usually go , nearer to home. I'm saying it's worth the 20 minute drive to go. I must add this place is also suitable for dog lovers / walkers.”

  “Lovely place , 3 people in the street recommended it , without hesitation. My student who is very particular about where and what he eats, said it was the best burger he'd ever had ! I had the same and it was lovely. The service and attention was spot on, not too intrusive but at hand for any requirements. Im taking my wife and daughter there very soon and can't wait. Nice one you lot !”

  “Nourish is well-decorated, and has a good reputation for being a nice cafe that serves a range of food, hot drinks, bakery items and some alcoholic beverages. However, I would not recommend Nourish as a good option for vegetarian customers. The menu, particularly the breakfast choices, feel like an afterthought and does not constitute the price tag. The “star” of the vegetarian breakfast is halloumi, of which you get a paltry amount. Whereas the meat breakfast has sausages, bacon and black pudding. While vegetarian options are obviously more restrictive, there are so many good vegetarian alternatives for sausage and bacon that it feels lazy to not stretch the menu to include these. The Veggie Full English per the menu includes the below and is priced at £13.95: Haloumi, juicy fresh tomato, sauté mushrooms, (2) hash browns, baked beans, (2) poached eggs, toasted bloomer The Traditional Full English includes the below and is priced at £14.50: Locally sourced Coates butchers, (2) smoked back bacon, (2) gourmet sausages, black pudding, juicy fresh tomato, sauté mushrooms, (2) hash browns, baked beans, (2) poached eggs, toasted bloomer For 55p less vegetarians are getting two thinly cut pieces of halloumi which does not seem fair. I’d advise Nourish to reconsider their vegetarian breakfast option. For any vegetarians looking for a cooked breakfast I’d advise you visit Reunion who serve a much more interesting and varied alternative. I also visited recently for a Hot Chocolate, and I can’t describe it as anything other than water-y, think leads me to think the Hot Chocolate is powder and hot water mixture rather than anything more upmarket (i.e. a warmed milk blend with melted chocolate), and does not reflect the £5 price point. Comparatively, Knoops in Nottingham serves a perfect Hot Chocolate at £4 which is melted chocolate and significantly tastier. Nourish is overpriced, and I would not recommend to vegetarians and Hot Chocolate lovers.”

  “My husband and I called in here on a Sunday afternoon for a coffee and sweet treat. It was very busy but we managed to get a table with high chairs near the kitchen / toilet access areas. We ordered a mocha, a chai latte and two blueberry and pistachio muffins because they had pretty much run out of everything else. The mocha wasn’t warm enough for my husband, the chai latte wasn’t great, too sweet and not very hot. We wished that we hadn’t of bothered having the muffins because they were very dry and hardly any blueberries in them. The coffees and cakes were expensive for what they were. I don’t think we would return here.”

  “Went for lunch today. Very busy but fortunately got a table. I had the Pie of the week - peppered steak. It was faultless, one of the best meals I've had in a long time. At £13.50 great value as well”

  “Nice enough cafe/bistro place with a simple menu and decent coffee. There's also a small bread, cakes and pastries section at the front I had the eggs Benedict with black pudding and was nice although I prefer my eggs very soft. The young waitress Edie on the ground floor was very efficient, hard working and customer focused, a really good front end to the business”
