  “Ordered 2 large kebab meat on chips tonight for delivery and specifically stated only one kebab meat with all salad and mint yoghurt sauce as the other person is allergic to the mint yogurt sauce. Very dissatisfied tonight as the person on the phone reassured us that it won’t be long and everything will be double checked. Anyway, the order got delivered bang on 10 o’clock, opened it up and surprise! They both had mint yoghurt sauce. Wanted to ring up to complain about this however the takeaway place shuts at 10 so by the time we noticed, codnor fish bar was shut and didn’t answer the phone so somebody has now had to go without food and it what should have been their meal has now been thrown out. Absolutely appalling! Do better. Now have a very hungry and disappointed friend😡😡. The person who did have the mint yoghurt kebab however said that the meat was dry and cold, with hardly any lettuce. The photo below is the meat we had to put into a bowl and discard🤢🙄”

  “Got a good amount of food for money we paid so 4 stars for service and value. But have to say for me the batter on the fish and sausages was way too thick, hard and bright orange. Looked unappetising and not nice to eat. I took most mine off the fish. It's personal preference of course and not many in our group complained but I think batter quality says a lot about the chippy. So 1 star. Can't mention atmosphere cos didn't go in so gave a middle 3 stars.”

  “Almost 5* except the app times dont reflect the actual opening times. Google tells you right but the app needs updating”

  “First time having food from here and can say it was nice but won't be ordering again as the meat is as thin as a piece of paper unlike my local which is thick kebab like it should be, if it was decent donner meat then it would of got 5 stars”

  “If I could review this with no stars I would! We’ve received absolutely poor service this evening. Ordered from them, had the order read back & came wrong. Called to make them aware & received abuse! We order with them regularly but will definitely never be using them again! Avoid at all costs!”

  “This is our regular go to when ordering our kabab wraps takeaway. Delivered on time and always nice and hot. Delivery drivers always polite.”

  “The WORST fish & chips. Batter not cooked thoroughly, tastes like dough, falls off the fish. Fish smells and tastes off. Chips cold. Service poor and no smiles. Won’t be returning and definitely won’t be recommending. Food is inedible. Only come here if you want to lose weight by throwing your food in the bin.”

  “Had a chicken kebab and chips and a donner and chips, donner meat was lukewarm at best and very greasy. Ordered food and went outside to make a phonecall to ask wife what sauce she wanted, came back in to find food had been wrapped, asked if I could get sauce on my wifes and the response was rude and unprofessional, customer service and attitude of the staff was shocking. Will never step foot in the place again!”

  “Food was poor quality, donner meat was greasy all 3 trays wasn’t editable at all, £21 down and when speaking to them it was you ate it innit you just want a refund! How unprofessional! Spent £45 delivery £2 which was shocking when spending so much already and we was highly disappointed to say the least!”
