  “A lovely little spot to grab some delicious food 😍 Had the Penne Pollo and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten. Super garlicky with plenty of meat 👌Followed by a super rich & devine chocolate cake. Prices a tad more than average but definitely worth it. The venue is a decent size but walkways are quite small so when it's busy it can be difficult getting about. Limited parking spots available nearby so may need to consider a short walk to the venue. However, bar & waiting staff were all extremely lovely & friendly 😊 and as I say, the food made everything totally worth the trip 🤤 portion sizes were brilliant.”

  “Went with another couple for a joint birthday celebration. The food we had( linguine marinaire), service and choice of drinks were excellent. As it was a Monday night, it was quiet with only a few groups of diners and we could have a catch up conversation without shouting across the table. Parking is limited as customers at a nearby restaurant snaffle the parking spaces, but we park(for free) in Eyes Meadow and its a pleasant short walk following the River Ecclesbourne to the restaurant.”

  “We had a very poor experience this evening. An expensive Bass ruined by being drowned in sauce and a vegetarian risotto which was just mainly frozen peas. Not even a large portion of Parmesan could not rescue it. It seems that quantity was used instead of quality. Booking a table seemed very odd. Booking on line showed that only early booking was available yet the restaurant was very quiet all the time we were there The only saving grace was our waitress who was lovely Our first visit and sadly our last.”
