Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the slow-cooked pork belly noodles, called rich and flavourful, with the chicken curry and prawn summer rolls close behind. Diners also name the pork ribs, chả cá noodles, vegetable spring rolls, beef noodle soup, lemongrass pork skewers, and pandan cake, often paired with Vietnamese coffee. Fresh, homemade-tasting food is a steady theme, along with warm service and a garden seating area. Several describe gluten-free or dairy-free needs being handled well, and one suggests booking in advance because the place fills up quickly. The main criticism comes from one three-star reviewer, who found the ribs a little dry, the fatty pork in the noodle dish unfinished, and the chả cá fish dry and overloaded with dill, with a pile of dill picked out of the bowl. The same reviewer called the room noisy, the tables small and the toilets in need of repair, while still praising the waitresses and the Hanoi beer. Others close on a repeat visit, with one couple returning twice in a single weekend.

“Everything we had was delicious. Prawn summer rolls fresh and flavourful. Lemongrass pork skewers had a really nicely caramelised outside and the coriander dipping sauce was especially nice. I ordered the slow cooked pork noodles; would get these again!”

“Summary - We would not eat here again. Details - We had the pork rib starters, Slow cooked Pork Noodle Bun Thít, and Cha ca noodles. The pork ribs were good but a little dry. The portion was generous. It is very messy to eat the ribs. For Pork Noodle Bun Thít, the vermicelli was good, but the fatty pork cuts were not. I usually finish the meat, but we did not finish this pork. The Cha ca noodles (turmeric fish with vermicelli) was the worst. The fish was dry, we could not taste the turmeric, and the dish was overloaded with dill. My wife picked out a large pile of dill from the bowl. See the photo of the dill pile. We did not finish this dish either. Also, they only offer one kind of gin. A bigger selection is needed. As for atmosphere, the place was noisy. The table was so small that we hit our legs on the table legs. The chairs were uncomfortable. The toilets smelled and needed some repairs. The door handles of the toilets were ready to fall off. On the positive side, the three waitresses were nice, and there were ceiling fans to circulate the air. The Hanoi beer was good. Note that we have eaten at Vietnamese restaurants for many years and have visited Vietnam four times.”

“We chose Noya’s Kitchen after seeing so many excellent reviews online and wanted to try something different during our visit to Bath. We ordered the summer rolls, chicken curry, and bún clay, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food tasted incredibly fresh and homemade, which was a lovely surprise as so many Asian restaurants these days rely on pre-made ingredients. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. We sat in the beautiful garden, which was perfectly set up with plenty of shade, making it a lovely place to enjoy lunch even on a very hot day. We would 100% recommend Noya’s Kitchen and already can’t wait to come back.”

“If I could give more than five stars, I would. Noya’s Kitchen is one of those rare restaurants that manages to excel at absolutely everything: incredible food, genuine hospitality, a wonderful atmosphere, and a level of customer care that is increasingly difficult to find. What makes Noya’s Kitchen truly special is that you are not simply served a meal, you are welcomed as a guest. From the moment you arrive, there is a warmth and authenticity that reflects Noya herself and permeates the entire experience. The food is outstanding. Every dish is bursting with fresh, vibrant flavours, beautifully balanced and clearly prepared with enormous care and attention. It is easy to understand why the restaurant has built such a devoted following. The ingredients taste incredibly fresh, the flavours are bright and distinctive, and every plate feels like it has been crafted rather than merely cooked. This commitment to fresh, seasonal and authentic Vietnamese cuisine is something repeatedly recognised by diners, and deservedly so. For me personally, however, the most impressive aspect was the way Noya and her team accommodated dietary requirements. As someone who requires gluten-free options, dining out can often feel like a compromise. At Noya’s Kitchen it was the complete opposite. The team took the time to understand my requirements, explain the menu, and ensure I could enjoy the experience with complete confidence. Rather than feeling like an inconvenience, I felt genuinely looked after. That level of care transforms a meal into something memorable. It is clear that I am not alone in this experience. The restaurant has earned widespread praise for its gluten-free offerings and willingness to accommodate different dietary needs, something that many establishments claim to do but very few achieve as successfully. The atmosphere deserves special mention as well. The restaurant has an intimate, welcoming feel that somehow manages to be both relaxed and special at the same time. Whether you are visiting for a casual lunch, an evening meal, or one of Noya’s famous supper clubs, there is a genuine sense that everyone involved wants you to have a wonderful experience. Noya’s Kitchen is the sort of restaurant people tell their friends about, return to repeatedly, and miss when they leave the city. Simply put: outstanding food, outstanding staff, and an outstanding experience. Noya’s Kitchen is not just one of the best restaurants in Bath, it is one of the best dining experiences I have had anywhere; which is why we keep coming back, again and again!”

“Had a glorious lunch here today with my mum and it was an absolute treat from start to finish. My mum enjoyed two starters, including the fried mushrooms and spring rolls, while I had a tofu-based main with noodles and salad that came with fantastic seaweed rolls. We also had iced matcha drinks, which were delicious and incredibly refreshing. My main course was genuinely one of the best meals I've had in ages. Everything tasted so fresh and clean, with beautiful flavours that were vibrant, balanced and deeply satisfying. It was obvious that a great deal of care had gone into the food, and every bite was a pleasure. The service was exceptional. Warm, sincere and genuinely kind, the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. There was nothing forced about it; just lovely people creating a lovely experience. The restaurant had a wonderful lunchtime atmosphere, busy and buzzing but still relaxed and comfortable. The décor is beautiful, with lovely colours and a real sense of personality that makes the space feel inviting and cheerful. The value for money was fantastic considering the quality of the food and service. Combined with its excellent location in Bath, Noya's Kitchen is a true hidden gem. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for fresh, flavour-packed food and genuinely welcoming hospitality. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the nicest lunches I've had in a long time, and I'll definitely be returning.”
