Quick info
About Jimmys kebab
Jimmys kebab is a takeaway van on Terrace Walk in the centre of Bath, set up for collection only. The menu centres on kebabs, with doner and chicken kebab on offer alongside a lamb wrap. Burgers, chips and hot dogs fill out the rest of the food, and the van sells both hot and cold drinks. It opens daily and evenings only, which suits a late-night kebab. Customers collect their orders at the van, which operates like a small shop.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the kebabs here, with the doner and chicken kebab named as delicious and one diner calling it the freshest they have had. Friendly staff and reasonable prices come up repeatedly, and several point to it as the go-to for late night or after clubbing. Fast service also gets a mention, along with one reviewer who found it a pleasant surprise for a van. One former student says it revived them and their friends during university days, and another reports no upset stomach the next day. Not everyone was won over: one reviewer found the chicken kebab fine but not top notch and would try a larger portion next time. The most serious complaint comes from one reviewer who reports that they and a friend got food poisoning after eating the lamb diner wrap and were ill for days. Reviewers otherwise describe a quick, simple takeaway, and one even says they would pick it over a visit to the Roman Baths.

“Jimmy's is a classic staple in the Heart of Bath. These guys have revived myself and my friends during university days and I come back two years later to experience the best takeaway in the business. Staff are lovely down for a laugh and give very reasonable portions and prices. If I had to choose to visit the Roman Baths or Jimmy's, I'd choose Jimmy's everytime ✅”
