Customer Review Summary
Sunday lunch is the most frequent draw, with reviewers describing a roast beef dinner and salmon from the specials board as hot and nicely presented, followed by a cheesecake singled out among the desserts. Others mention a tasty burger and scampi, very generous portions and prices they call good and fair. Close behind is the welcome: reviewers repeatedly describe friendly, helpful staff, hosts who run the pub as a community hub, and dogs made extremely welcome. The large garden and a small children's play area also come up often, along with baby changing facilities in the gents. Ales are described as well kept and nicely conditioned, though one reviewer found only a single beer on tap, Adnams Ghost Ship, and noted the chalk noticeboard outside made the pub look closed when it was open. One camper-van visitor was allowed to stay overnight in the car park after an evening of karaoke.

Also had dessert, both desserts were fab especially the cheesecake 😁. The garden is a lovely space too but we were inside where it was a bit cooler. Prices are very good. Definitely be back”
