About The White Hart
The White Hart is a Wetherspoon pub in Aylesbury, at Unit 4 Exchange St, opposite the theatre and next to the cinema, so it works for pre-theatre or post-theatre meals and drinks. It opens daily, with breakfast served until noon and free refills on tea and Lavazza coffee all day. Orders for table service go through the Wetherspoon app. The menu runs from bangers and mash and a gourmet burger to sticky toffee pudding, while the drinks list covers real ales, craft beers and gins. Different deals apply on different days. A pub quiz takes place on Monday nights, and music plays on Friday and Saturday nights. The pub puts up decorations for Halloween and Christmas.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to cheap, quick Wetherspoon basics: real ale and pints, deals that change by day, and the table ordering app. Close behind are the bangers and mash and sticky toffee pudding, a gourmet burger and a jacket potato, plus a breakfast with unlimited coffee refills, though one reviewer wanted more tomatoes and beans. Its spot opposite the theatre and next to the cinema suits a meal before or after a show, and the Monday night pub quiz gets praise, though weekend music can be loud enough to hinder conversation. Food and upkeep draw the complaints. One diner got a rock-hard naan, then a replacement that was soaking, and found a buttermilk chicken burger bland. Another returned a cold meal and had to ask for a sticky table to be wiped. Another reports uncleared tables and glasses piling up on the bar, while one describes a waitress snapping at customers who ordered to the wrong table. Staff are otherwise called friendly and cheerful, and one reviewer's replacement naan arrived after they raised the problem.

“It’s a Wetherspoons. It does what it’s good at and it does it well. Great real beer, great prices, pleasant and attentive staff although an extra person behind the bar would be beneficial. I’ve never had a bad pint in a Wetherspoons pub. The table ordering app is great”

“Vile attitude from one of the staff today. Didn’t see her name as wasn’t wearing a badge but a customer obviously accidentally ordered to the wrong table, the waitress was walking around huffing about it making comments to other customers. When she found the right table she had a go at the customers practically telling the whole restaurant as she raised her voice & then proceeded to walk to another table and say “Yea I told them if they order to that table again they’ll be sitting in it”. If there is CCTV you’ll see what I mean. I don’t think this attitude is acceptable, the person taking orders could’ve just written the wrong table number (17 instead of 7) or misheard; therefore, taking it out on paying customers is wrong & nasty when it was clearly a simple mistake. She stood there then talking about said customer to other tables and making comments. The other staff were lovely but she really ruined the whole visit as it felt so unfair the way she treated the customers.”

“We ordered a chicken tikka curry, the curry itself was lovely however it came with a naan bread which was as hard as rock, after informing staff another was brought out and it must have been heated up with water because it was soaking, the second meal was a buttermilk chicken burger with chips, the chips were fine not hot but not cold the buttermilk chicken itself was bland and had no taste whatsoever, I tried with mayo no difference I tried adding ketchup no difference, these two meals were on the specials menu but that should not mean that taste and standards should dip, the pub itself was great the atmosphere was lovely, I did however see two other people complain about food, would come here again for the breakfast but not for a main meal.”

“Came into today at 10 40. Table next to me hadn’t been cleared at 1400 also the empty glasses I took to the bar at 1200 were still there. No tables being cleared away and bar full of empty glasses. I know they can’t afford the staff but it looks bad for the customers. And the reviews. Lovely staff though.”

“Popped in for a nice breakfast, cheap and cheerful and unlimited coffee refills for under £10, good facilities and quick service, the breakfast needs tomatoes and a few more beans, other than that it was pretty good.”
