Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise authentic Thai cooking, with one noting it tastes like food they had in Thailand because the chef is Thai. Diners single out the chicken Phad Thai, pork skewers with a tangy umami sauce, a duck main, guay teow beef, and sweet and sour chicken with rice. Dishes are described as freshly prepared and quick to arrive. Close behind is the lunch set, repeatedly called good value. The room is small and described as cosy, with music playing and decor that a couple of reviewers liked. One suggests booking ahead because there are so few tables. Staff are called friendly and efficient, with a waiter checking that everyone had what they wanted and another explaining the menu. One reviewer reports loud sneezing and coughing from the kitchen while their food was being cooked, which left them unable to finish their dish and unsure about returning. Another recalls a waiter who unintentionally played music from all their favourite bands.

“The food was fantastic, portions not too big, quick service and nice atmosphere. Special mention to our waiter who was putting on music from all my favourite bands unintentionally. We will definitely come back next time we're in York.”

“Food was nice, lunch set was great value. However, one thing that put me off was the loud sneezing and coughing from the kitchen while cooking which made me feel so unhygienic and I couldn’t finish my dish. Not sure if I will come back.”
