  “Visited this restaurant on a whim, and was so glad we did! Had 4 small entrees dishes, and each one was delicious, esp the stay chicken skewers. Had a good chat with the server whose family live in the south region of Thailand, which we spent some time there in 2023. Very authentic food and atmosphere, thank you team.”

  “Stop for a quick meal and was not disappointed. I had boat noodles and mango smoothie was absolutely delicious. Mango smoothie in this hot weather (June) was so refreshing drink to go for. The restaurant layouts make you feel like Thailand. The staff are very friendly and helpful.”

  “We love Zaap Thai in York. Food is delicious. Best thing tho is all the staff are a delight. Always happy and helpful even tho under pressure as it's always busy. Don't ever take off the service charge. They earn every penny.”

  “I was just craving some quick Thai food, but the taste of the food made me enjoy, staffs was efficient and quick. Received everything correctly. I didn't have to wait long for my food; I ate Crispy pork with rice and kiew tod, which both are amazing for me.”

  “Had vegetable gyozas, pad Thai, coconut rice with mango and Thai milk tea - everything was great and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and very accommodating to our dietary restrictions, huge thanks to them for making our experience so good. Definitely coming again.”

  “Ordered Gluoy tod and moo jae ban, the porkbelly had good flavour with the sauce but was a bit too crispy for my liking and spent a lot of time crunching and chewing. The fried banana was amazing though, the crunchy batter and sweet melty banana with the sweet sauces, complemented by the vanilla ice cream. I also tried a bit of green curry and would highly recommend trying that out too. Restaurant is nicely decorated with good music and staff were thai and friendly”

  “First time visiting, although we have been to the Nottingham restaurant. Couldn’t fault anything. Food, staff, ambiance were all excellent. We had the Bangkok platter, red curry and green curry and the pancake dessert. All were absolutely delicious. We will be back next time we visit York.”

  “Ok. We've been to Nottingham, Leeds and Newcastle and now York and the food and drinks is consistently excellent. The Phad Thai today was amazing, the Bangkok Platter was delicious and the rest of our dishes was superb. Great drinks and great service as always. The food is so authentic and the restaurants layouts make you feel your in streets of Thailand. I wish these were closer to London but always worth travelling to for authentic thai food and experience.”

  “Lovely staff and atmosphere, fantastic food and drink! We went 2 days in a row, as the first trip was so good! The first time we tried the bao buns, salt and pepper chips, pork noodle soup, mango sticky rice, fried banana dessert, grape soda with lychee boba and Thai pink milk. The highlights were the banana dessert and pink milk, both well worth a try! The fruit was all fresh and very flavourful too. The second visit, we tried the wonton soup and some different baos, which were just as great! The pork belly and Sriracha bao was the favourite. Zaap also introduced us to T-pop, which was a lot of fun to listen to while eating! I would recommend visiting if you are in the area.”
