  “Seems a lot of things have changed which is positive I feel , you now pay before you sit down , some new food has been introduced which is good and stuffs moved around , some of the food probably needed more attention as maybe had sat there for a long time but overall very good , young servers were attentive clearing plates which I liked”

  “It was one of the best buffets we’ve tried. The number of options is excellent - lots of world foods - there is bound to be something you’ve not tried before. The staff were very friendly. Great seating area with lots of space. Highly recommended.”

  “Vast choice, but really could just enjoy the grilled items (the dishes they make on demand) could just eat them all night no need for all the other bits. Fantastic chefs, really friendly. I would could again and just order those bits!”

  “Food was hot and fresh and a decent variety, the grill and teppanyaki stations were especially good (beef was the standout) and staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our meal here!”

  “It's ok. good selection of food to pick from. I would say the food is ok but nothing to write home about the service was very good but can't see us going back any time soon would I recommend probably no you can get much better for the price range”

  “A cozy place with plenty of seating, a wide variety of dishes, lots of desserts, lots of meat and many different kinds of it — truly a huge amount of delicious food. Great service, and the entry price is cheap — only £25 per adult, which is just amazing. The only downside is the cola for £3.50 — it tastes like dishwater, honestly it’s awful.”

  “We were about to have a meal just saw the place and thought to give it a try. But we were blown up by the experience. Starting with their friendly and hospitable staff, ambiance, food options and flavours from around the world, all under one roof. Value for money guaranteed. Would recommend with a doubt. For those looking for Halal options…you are up for a treat, just like us.”

  “I only came here because my friends wanted to, otherwise I wouldn’t have, as I had already read the bad reviews. Unfortunately, they were accurate. First of all, cleanliness: yes, the plates and cutlery were clean and the general environment was acceptable, but take a look at the stove and barbecue grill the staff use to cook your food. They looked extremely unclean. Second, the food itself. The Chinese dishes were, at best, about 40% close to authentic, according to my Chinese friends. My Indian friends said the same about the Indian food. The sushi was unsettling too — the wasabi was such an unnatural, fluorescent green that I genuinely worried for anyone who ate it. The meats with sauces, such as sweet and sour chicken, looked artificial, with colours that screamed chemicals. There is no denying that the variety is wide, but for £25 you can get a much better and more authentic Chinese, Indian or Japanese meal at a proper restaurant in York. I see little point in coming to a place that risks sending you to the hospital. On a positive note, the staff were all polite and friendly, though they did seem very tired.”
