  “Great restaurant very big 2 floors. Variety in its menu very well served and delicious. Big platters and trays. The place is very comfy and relaxing place. The service is great and amicable. It is not table service. You have to go to the bar and order but you do pay when you are finished. Weird if you ask me.”

  “Main evening meal in York, we stumbled across this wonderful bar & grill, the staff were very accommodating and efficient, they made our visit very enjoyable. The food was top notch, we thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. The perfect end to a glorious day out in York.”

  “Lovely bar in a great central location. Burgers are expensive but not just usual pub burgers - really tasty and filling. Great beer selection. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Made multiple visits during out visit to York and hope to be back again soon”

  “Really nice atmosphere with some exceptional food. I had the ribs and wings, it was fantastic and I would definitely recommend. The bar is wheelchair accessible and my partner had plenty of room to manoeuvre around the tables.”

  “Local pub of York 🩵so so so nice, the fries were delicious highly recommend. However I’m not such a big fan of the pulled pork dirty fries as it was too sweet for my liking however the nachos is a must try!!!! Definitely recommend if you are visiting or just want a weekend night out. Beer was nice as well although comes at 7.50 a pint which was a tad bit pricey…”

  “Delicious dinner! We got the XXL feast so we could try a selection of all the meats. A highlight was the chicken thighs - great flavour, very juicy, complemented by the pickles. The sausages had tonnes of smoke flavour to them (beautiful smoke ring on the outside) while still able to taste the subtle leak flavour. Pulled pork balanced with the pickled onion and the coleslaw was also one of the best. Pork ribs were juicy and delicious but with so much meat, that was what we left. Wings and chips were ok. Would recommend to anyone looking for lovely smoked meat. And the service and atmosphere was lovely too. Felt looked after and the kitchen is open - so you can see it all being prepped!”

  “Wow!! Amazing food here and exceptional service. Really knowledgeable staff who can tell you the origins of the drinks, how all the food is made and are really switched on in relation to inclusion. We had a fantastic time and even had to bring some food home as we couldn't manage it. 10/10 ....will definitely be back!”
