  “Lunch visit. We both had the lunch menu faggots with fries, peas and onion gravy. Very tasty faggots. Portion was just right. Our Son in Law had the lasagne. Our daughter the turkey bap. Both were very happy with their meals. First visit for us, we will certainly visit again.”

  “Amazing food proper pub meals. Lovely pub, staff so friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Really attentive staff, always feel well looked after. Nice to be greeted as we arrived and thanked as we left. We love this pub. Management run it really well. Always have a great night here. Thankyou all and keep up the great work!”

  “I really like this place. I went with my friend, we had great service and food. Very enjoyable. It's located in a lovely place with a small play area and great seating for the adults. The food was scrummy and filling and value for money.”

  “I used to love this place, but haven't been I a while. I assume it has changed management. When we sat down we were asked for drinks and I asked for a bitter. Was told they only had Carling or an Enville might be coming on. This should have been enough warning, a pub that doesn't sell beer. Food took ages to arrive and when it did, it was not worth the wait. The roast, which two of put party had, was dry, potatoes were dry and the Yorkshires was dry. My burger did not have onion rings which it was supposed to have. Waitress did go back to the kitchen and brought back some anaemic ones that had been hastily undercooked. They arrived at the same time as the last meal for out group. When I bit into the burger, it did not have the bacon in it that was supposed to be there and was incredibly salty. I will not be going back in a hurry!”

  “I had the El diablo mixed grill, everything was cooked exelently and tasted great, with very good portions, Juliet was our server and she did a great job, lovely service and took care of any needs we had.”

  “We love coming in here on a Wednesday afternoon after a walk along the canal. It caters for us all including being able to bring our dog in with us which is great. Jess and the team are always friendly and welcoming. We always enjoy any food we order, even the baby enjoys her little pot of chunky chips.”
