Customer Review Summary
Indian food is the main draw, with reviewers describing the curries as much improved, fresh and full of flavour, and one noting that more diners now come in because of it. A Father's Day spread with no limit on portions drew praise for its range, and a Wednesday visit paired curries with a Wolves match and karaoke, with a bar team, waiter and manager described as friendly, welcoming and going above and beyond. Others mention comfy seating and a covered outside area. The criticism splits between food and noise. A delivery order brought a small portion of chips, a lamb madras that could have been more tender and a thick, tasteless curry base that went uneaten. One reviewer found the mixed grill thin, with four wings, three pieces of chicken and half a lamb sheesh, and another says the smell of grilled food has taken over the pub. A regular finds the bands and solo acts every Friday and Saturday hit and miss, with acoustics that make conversation hard, and would rather have more jukebox credits.

“Food: The Indian food is much improved, top notch now. It's shows with the amount of eaters that now come in. Atmos: marked this down one. The general pub atmosphere is great. What let's it down is terrible bands / solo acts every Friday and Saturday night. Don't get me wrong, there are some ok bands, but recently it's been very hit and miss. This just annoys the regular Friday/Saturday crowd who'd rather just have the jukebox going instead of a band on both nights. The acoustics in the pub don't help, you can't hear yourself think! Tip: have a convo with your regulars before block booking bands for every Friday/Saturday night. I'm 99.9% sure they'd say the same as me. We'd appreciate some jukebox credits more tbh!”

“Order a meal to be delivered. Chips were £4.50 and they were a very small portion, ridiculous priced. I also ordered 2 madras curries 1 lamb and 1 chicken. The lamb could've been more tender. The curry base was just to thick for me and quite tasteless, I couldn't even eat it. I wouldn't order from there again or recommend. Waste of 💰. Clearly you don't know what containers are being used. I'm glad you found the time to look through my reviews maybe you should spend that time looking at what containers your chefs use. Has for your KFC comment you Clearly need to take a leaf out of their book. For someone who didn't order from you below is my uber receipt. So do with that as you please and try and work on your customer service skills, such a very childish response. *Like I said previously, your added comment shows you have no decorum about the establishment. Did you take the time to check what containers your chefs use, before you came and responded to me? because I didn't order from your establishment did I ? Take the criticism and do as you please with it!!”

“Good pub in general, but the smell of the food has just taken it over. Fed up of all these pubs turning into mix grill houses! Service was good, and decor is lovely throughout due to the recent refurb. Jukebox could do with being on more though!!”
