Customer Review Summary
Roast dinners draw the most praise, with reviewers describing huge portions, lots of veg and bottomless gravy, and one calling the roast lamb a good portion. Close behind are the duo of pork with scallops, which one diner found rare to see cooked well, and the pork from the Christmas menu. A lemon tart had a good lemon zing, though its pastry was a bit soft. Reviewers also mention a good ale selection, a refurbished room with lovely decor, a garden that looked fresh and clean, and a welcome for dogs. Service is repeatedly called friendly and accommodating, from a wedding meal with not one mistake to a party member's allergen being handled well. The roasts are called a bit pricey. The main complaint comes from a Sunday visitor who asked for a quieter side room because of hearing issues and was told it was not possible, despite empty tables, and found the greeter seemed fed up. Staff afterward were pleasant, and the food arrived quickly even on busy evenings.

“We recently visited The Willett Arms to celebrate my birthday with a party of nine, and once again, it was a fantastic experience. This has become our go-to spot because it consistently delivers on every front. The location is incredibly easy to find, and the large, free car park makes organising a big group completely stress-free. As soon as you step inside, you are greeted by a beautifully warm, stylish, and modern atmosphere that balances trendy design with classic pub comfort. For a busy table of nine, the kitchen efficiency was remarkable. The wait time for our meals was incredibly short, and we were so impressed that every single dish arrived at the same time and piping hot. The food was spectacular, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavour. They also have a great drinks selection! My grandad is particular about his ale, so he was most pleased he could find exactly what he wanted. Given the excellent quality of the meals and the wonderful surroundings, it always represents great value for money. The exceptional service is really what elevates this venue. On this most recent birthday visit, we were looked after by Kate, who was great. On our previous visit just before this one, Jim took care of us and was equally just as amazing and accommodating. Both of them made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. We also LOVE how dog friendly they are! No family member left behind 🐕 Thank you to the whole team for making my birthday so memorable. We highly recommend The Willett Arms and will definitely be back soon 🙌”

The celebration room was perfect and for the amount of food and drinks being served, along with little ones, not one mistake was made. Big thank you for making part of our day great. Highly recommend. X”

“Excellent food, arrived quickly and cooked well, I had the roast Lamb which was a good portion for the price. Great service from Derryn. The atmosphere was great, we sat in the garden and the table, chairs and decorations looked fresh and clean. Would thoroughly recommend.”
