“In short this was the best roast dinner I have ever eaten! All the small details added up to a standard as yet unmatched elsewhere. The food looked every bit as good as it tasted and the flavours were punchy and perfectly balanced. Sadly, I am not a local or otherwise The Vault would be a regular haunt and my waistline would cry out for bigger trousers! A lovely, welcoming, stylish place serving great food - highly recommended.”

“Very pleasant modern restaurant under a big renovated hotel. A good choice of what may initially seem to be a nice but standard menu, elevated with obvious care and attention and extra well selected elements from the head chef and delivered with the same eye for detail. My Chicken burger was certainly a step or two above you standard with kimchi coleslaw and perfectly spiced batter. My wife's seafood Spaghetti was brimming with local fresh fish and crustaceans. Friendly staff. Only suggestion is maybe they could to tweak the wine and beer range upmarket a bit to match the food. All in all very good indeed.”
