About The William Henry
The William Henry is a Wetherspoon pub at 1 Frederick Place in Weymouth, where tea and Lavazza coffee come with free refills all day. A self-serve drinks area with refill machines sits alongside a bank of coffee and hot drink machines. Breakfast is served, and the food menu moves on to gourmet burgers and freshly made pizzas, with deli deal options and vegetarian choices. The drinks list covers real ales, craft beers and gins as well as soft drinks. Customers order through the Wetherspoon app from the table, which brings table service, and food and drinks arrive quickly after ordering. Seating spreads across two levels, including an upper floor. Getting a table can take a wait when the pub is busy.

Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers return for the speed of the table ordering through the app, with food and drinks arriving within minutes, one describing a breakfast order reaching the table in about six minutes. Hot, freshly cooked food comes next, with generous portions and the steak and wine deal, cod and chips, and breakfast with free refill drinks machines singled out as good value. Several praise friendly staff and a bank of coffee machines and self serve cold drinks. Reviewers also point to the lifts to the upper floors as helpful for less able visitors. The main caveats are crowding and noise: tables can be hard to find, and one family says it gets quite loud and lively after 8pm. One reviewer found the ingredient screen left out the cooking oil, so they had to ask staff to check with the kitchen, and nothing on the menu suited their sibling. Another notes the app lacked some items, and one asks for a cleaner menu. A reviewer who got a table within minutes of a group leaving notes staff cleared it quickly.

“Been here a few times during our holiday. Food was good and definitely one of the better Wetherspoons. Amazingly we ordered breakfast via the app. From order to table took around 6 minutes! Staff were very friendly and cheerful on our visits. Drinks also came to us in good time. A bank of coffee machines and cold drink self service available. Always a good number of customers present and the staff seemed to cope well zipping around.”

“Called here recently on a Saturday late afternoon. It had loads of seating and being a weekend, it was very busy!, 2 levels of seating and it has a small lift to get to the upper floor. We saw a group leaving and got the table before the staff had time to clean it, which they did quite quickly 👍🏻 Within minutes of online ordering, 2 mugs were given to us for the hot drinks!, plus there were 4 hot drinks machines not far away, all were working 👍🏻 Food was excellent and as we stood up to leave, a couple came up and asked if they could have the table!, like I mentioned... busy!! 😄 All good, definitely recommend, (maybe when it's not as busy! )”

“Weatherspoons is always a great pub to go. Table service, which is great for less able. Go on the app, add your table and your set. The pub it self was pleasant enough. Didnt notice it actually went up. There are disabled lifts. So you could go up the 2 flights of stairs. Very cheap, and great for the money”

“I came here today with my family, 2 adults 2 children. We ordered at the table via the app and it was so easy. The drinks came extremely quickly and food not long after. It was very busy as id expect from a wetherspoons. They were so busy I was pleasantly surprised at how quick our order got to our table. Generally we order at the bar in pubs but we tried the app and glad we did in the end. We're in Weymouth for 3 days and we'll probably be back considering how good it was. The management should be very proud of the whole team for today.”
