About Farmer's Arms
Farmer's Arms is a traditional local pub in Wallasey, found at 225 Wallasey Village, with original wood panelling and a base of regulars. The building is split into separate areas: a small front bar, a snug, a main back bar and a rear yard. The back bar has a darts board and TV screens, and football matches are shown there. On tap, the pub pours real ales and a craft beer, with Beavertown Neck Oil among them. Since the change of owner, the pub has also served food, including a buffet for a wake.

The beer draws the most praise: a decent selection of real ales, plus a craft beer on tap, with Beavertown Neck Oil called spot on since the change of owner. “A proper boozer, still with original wood panelling. Friendly staff, decent selection of beers, what's not to like? Sadly these places are disappearing, enjoy it whilst you can.”

“Great, old school, local community pub that is favoured by regulars. Friendly staff and generally good locals. Split into four areas. There is an L shaped l, small front bar, a snug that holds around 14 to the left upon entering, a main back bar with a darts board and some TV screens and a rear yard for the smokers. Started offering food since the change of owner, but I've not eaten there, so I can't comment on the food quality. Prices are around average for the area.”

“Been in this pub many times over the years, it has recently changed hands and the quality of the beer has improved majorly! It is a lovely traditional pub but with the fantastic addition of a craft beer on tap as well as real ales! The Beavertown Neck oil is spot on! Great pub, give it a visit!”

“Great pub! No loud music, TV or machines to overpower the conversation, although you can catch the match here, so ideal to meet up with friends for a chat! Great friendly staff, and a welcoming clientele! Now our local!”

“Dog friendly local neighbourhood pub, great range of beers. We held a wake for our friend Billy here. The buffet was absolutely amazing, good atmosphere and a wonderful send off for for him. A big thank you to Anna & her staff.”
