“Come here quite often after work, never had a bad experience. Carl Jung once referred to Liverpool as 'the pool of life', I would say this place fits that description perfectly. Get a seat and you can find yourself chatting to people of all ages, from all parts of the world. Staff are friendly and always serve you quickly, prices are what you would expect in this part of the city, and overall its a place you just hope never changes.”

“Absolutely fantastic pub. I really enjoyed my time having a Guinness with a shot of port it was delicious. It's a family run pub and they treat you like family. It was the highlight of my time in Liverpool. It's definitely a gem. It as a range of beers and spirits all your needs are catered for. If you ask about the history of the pub they are very happy to share their knowledge with you. The landlord and daughter combination really bring a dynamic vibe and a very enjoyable experience. If they have me back I will definitely come back next time im in Liverpool. Can't rate this fantastic pub highly enough. It's fantastic a must go. Stunning Guinness too. Made me miss my train ha ha Thank you for a lovely time”
