Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the staff, with several describing a server who looked after their group all afternoon or made them feel like VIPs, and the games, including pool, darts, shuffleboard, ping pong and karaoke, come close behind. Drinks get steady praise, from Strawberry and Lime Koppaberg on tap to a pickle shot served with a big pickle. One diner calls the pepperoni flatbread pizza generous with toppings, and another praises the vegan options and a massive buffet portion. The main complaints are practical. One group was told large parties couldn't order food and then that the kitchen was closing, which wasn't explained at booking or check-in. A repeat visitor says the beer pong cups have to be taken back to the bar every time because they weren't washed properly. Reviewers also describe staff fixing problems: a stuck bowling game was sorted within minutes and a free second game was added, and extra pool tables were arranged for a group that arrived late.

“We had a great time on the games at Roxy, Cavern Quarter. The only let down was when we tried to order food we were told we couldn't. We were firstly told that large groups couldn't order food (we wanted to order individually anyway) and then we were told the kitchen was closing, which seemed like the real reason. This was not explained when we booked, nor when we checked in. Other than that, the darts, shuffle board and karaoke were all fantastic”

“What an absolutely brilliant night at Roxy’s Ballroom 10/10 from start to finish! Despite arriving a little later than planned, the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. No fuss, no attitude, just a warm welcome and brilliant service from the moment we walked in. They even sorted us out with extra pool tables on top of the one we’d booked, which was an incredibly generous touch that really made the night for our group. The venue itself looks incredible, the bold red and black décor, atmospheric lighting and open layout give it a real buzz. Multiple pool tables, ping pong, big screens showing sport… there’s so much going on that you’re genuinely spoilt for choice. Watching lads racking up at one table while others are playing table tennis in the background sums up the energy of the place perfectly. And the food! We ordered the pepperoni flatbread pizza and it was absolutely gorgeous, generous with the toppings, beautifully melted cheese, and served up on a lovely wooden board. Proper good pub grub that hits the spot after a few games. Roxy’s Ballroom is the full package, great venue, brilliant staff, fantastic food, and an atmosphere that keeps the whole group buzzing all night. We’ll 100% be back. Highly recommend! 🎱🍕”
