  “Loved our gin lab experience! My friend and I visited in June to do this as part of my 50th birthday celebrations and we just absolutely loved it! Facilitated by the fabulous Meg, we learned about gin and what botanicals are needed and all the different variations to create our very own bottle of gin! One of the best experiences ever, thank you Meg! X”

  “Went on Saturday night The Gin Bar is very stylishly decorated, finished to a very high standard. The staff are polite the band playing were excellent l, the drinks reasonably priced and of very high standard. The toilets which is to me a tell tale marker of cleanliness were spotless. One down side were the door staff, they seemed to want to intimidate the patrons continually walking in and out staring at people. This really was not needed as the atmosphere was light hearted and friendly. This was very off putting and I doubt if I’d go in on a Saturday again.”

  “We had the gin lab experience with Bailey, and it was great! We could create our own gin and take a bottle of it back home. Bailey was very friendly and shared a lot of history about gin. 10/10 would recommend!”

  “This was by keeps and bounds the best shore visit we have ever done! We booked the Gin Lab experience in advance and could not have been happier! We got to distill our own bottle and they will keep the recipes on file, so we can call back for refills! Dan was an amazing guide! 10 of 10 would recommend for a fun, unique and memorable experience!”

  “Stopped in for a couple of drinks while out and about in town and we were very impressed. The bar itself is impressive, has a really nice layout and feels like you could be in London or New York (but better you're in Liverpool). The gins and gin-based cocktails were really good! The guys behind the bar were so friendly as well and made top recommendations. I'd happily visit again if in the area.”

  “We had a fantastic time at the Liverpool Gin Distillery in December 2022. We booked onto the gin tasting tour and had a great experience there, with some lovely gins to try with accompanying tonics and garnishes to enhance the flavours further. The place itself is beautiful and the large copper still at the side of the bar is a fantastic sight. Well worth a visit.”

  “Absolutely fantastic place and we really enjoyed our experience learning about how gin is made. The lad who showed us was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of insight into the way that the gin is distilled and it was really scientific! I loved it! We were lucky that we were the only ones in on the day we did the gin making but it was awesome. Couple that with good tasters throughout the day and a beautiful bar. Awesome venue!”

  “Sam helped myself and my sister who has severe sight problems through the process of making a bottle of gin. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Sam was very knowledgeable and friendly. All the staff made us feel welcome . Would highly recommend the gin experience to anyone thinking about it.”

  “Loved it! The staff are excellent, explaining what pairing to take with which gin. We had the Liverpool Organic Gin with plain premium Fever-Tree Tonic and London Organic Rose Petal with Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic and edible flowers. The establishment itself is wonderful inside with the Gin bar upstairs and the new Dark Spirits bar downstairs (not quite open when we visited). Of course, we came away with 2 bottles - one Rose Petal and the other the Limited Edition (white ceramic bottle) featuring the Cunard Building on the Liverpool Organic Gin bottle. Definitely a place to revisit!”

  “Great choices of gin!! Tried a couple of them, the rose pedal and Valencia orange were very impressive and the original is a bit average. Great decor great atmosphere, friendly crew. Busy afternoons at the counter. In all, it stands out from other hundreds of good tasty Liverpool Gins”
