“Sunday lunch was bang on. 3 meats all cooked perfectly then help yourself to the veg which included homemade cauliflower cheese also homemade roasters(gorgeous). Oh & homemade gravy. Julie & her staff are all very friendly & welcoming. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed.”

“I believe a massive thanks and well done is due to all staff at this pub! We had a party of 24 for a 30th birthday meal, majority of meals I messaged before hand as a pre order and requested food to come out for 5:30. Service was absolutely excellent, all food came out amazing and very hot, had a couple steaks that needed re-firing (personal preference nothing wrong with them) and they were done to perfection as per request! They also went out of their way to go and get dairy free ice cream for a little one with an allergy, which wasn’t asked for but they did it out of their own kindness! Drinks were all served super quick, we had a whole area closed off for our party, we also enjoyed the pool table and one of the highlights was getting to meet Albie!! The younger lady behind the bar kindly took the time to take a group photo of us all with the lovely wrekin view in the background (thank you for your patience!!!), and the other lady took her time with me to split the bills into the separate parties at the end, which was no easy task!! I could write so much more lovely things about this place, the renovation looks lovely, toilets were very clean and well kept and every member of staff is so lovely. Food was gorgeous too! 10/10 will recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat!”
