About The Park
A quiz night gives The Park, a pub on Whitchurch Rd in Telford, a regular fixture for anyone who fancies a round of questions with a drink. The food menu is built around burgers, with a range of different versions to work through and the cheese and bacon burger a recurring order at the bar. Football is shown on the TV, and there is a garden for drinking outside. Dogs are welcome alongside their owners. The pub takes walk-ins and opens daily.

Customer Review Summary
Burgers are the main draw at this Telford pub, with reviewers praising the Beefy Lad, the cheese and bacon burger and the lamb Birria burger, some noting they arrive a little pink in the middle as intended. Smoked wings and the pizzas come up close behind, and one reviewer who ate there several times tried a different burger each visit. Beer earns separate praise, with one reviewer describing the hand-pulled cask ales as in excellent condition. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, including one team that supported a group with different allergies, and another reviewer says the pub organised a buffet for a christening. Diners describe a lively, family atmosphere with football on the TV, locals chatting, a beer garden, a pool table and a dart board. The one complaint is minor: a family noted a used lager can left on the steps outside before they went in, then found a lovely welcome. One reviewer returned the following week for the band.

“Can’t say enough positive things about this place. The atmosphere is lively, bar staff friendly, and the food, oh gosh, the food is something else. Close your eyes, point at any burger on the menu and be prepared to love it. We have eaten there 4-5 times, each time trying a different burger. Every one is gorgeous. Personal fave is the lamb Birria burger, smoked wings are out of this world.”

“A used can of lager on the steps outside was not a great start but once inside, there was a lovely family atmosphere waiting for my family of 7. Football was on the TV, which was great for our sport loving family, and we were able to choose …”

“Another visit today and the burgers seemed even better... Beefy Lad burger and cheese & bacon burger... burgers still a little pink in the middle like they're supposed to be... one topped with pulled beef... I challenge anyone to eat these dirty burgers without having to lick your fingers Visited today for the first time to try Emburgers from Embers, just as they'd been told they'd been awarded a 5 star food hygiene rating... charming pub, with warm welcoming staff and great service... only surpassed by the amazing cheese and bacon burger... the picture doesn't do it justice... mouth watering flavours... we'll be visiting again soon to work our way through their menu”

“A nice local pub for the summer and winter. Nice beer garden, pool table and dart board.”
