Customer Review Summary
Reviewers describe a typical Wetherspoon where friendly staff and quick service come up most, with several praising how fast food arrives even when busy. One recommends the chicken katsu curry and the cookie dough dessert, and another enjoyed a lunch and a beer from a good selection of drinks. Cleanliness splits the room. Some call it very clean and cleaner than other branches, while others mention dirty tables on the open top floor and want a deep clean at the front of house. The sharpest complaints concern food and handling. One family says a plate arrived with dried-on food and a ham and egg came with a liquid egg white, and the replacement egg arrived after the rest of the meal was eaten. Another reviewer found grilled chicken wings pink in the middle and left them. A birthday breakfast party was refused a chocolate brownie before the cut-off time despite explaining a nephew's autism, and a missed drink order led staff to check the table. One reviewer praises a staff member who handled a spill with blue roll.

“A few rowdy fellow customers, it’s a typical spoons, but could go with a deep clean/tidy up front of house.”

“Came for a family lunch for 5 adults. The food arrived very quickly. My son immediately noticed that his plate was very dirty-Not just marked but dried on food. We took it back to the counter and they brought a replacement. My mum had ordered the ham and egg but the egg wasn’t cooked-nut just a runny oak but the white was still liquid in the centre. No one came to our table to see if everything was ok with the rest of the meal so we continued to eat our meal and waited. In the end we had to take the egg back. They offered to properly cook it but by the time it came, (just flipped over) the rest of the meal had been eaten. The rest was ok, as to be expected from a Wetherspoon-frozen chips and chicken strips. But a very dirty plate and an uncooked egg did really spoil the meal for everyone else. We will not be returning and would definitely not recommend.”

“Spoons innit, smaller than most but offers all the same. Tucked a way by the side of the shopping centre, easy to miss. Would recommend if you want a bevvy or scran when out shopping. Nice staff, I was served by Dave, nice chap”
