“Stayed with my lady for the night and warmly greeted. Room was spot on with a comfy bed. The pub has a very local and welcoming feel to the place with nice beers. The local people are very friendly. Will definitely stay again next time we are up that way fishing on the trent again. Perhaps the people leaving revues moaning about noise need to realise ITS A PUB ffs. Maybe go down and sample a few yourselfs let yourself go abit🤣.”

“It's half past midnight and I can still hear people talking and drinking in the bar below. Not exactly quiet. Don't mind the excessive noise through to 23:30 but after midnight not on. Good shower, clean bathroom, bed comfy. Decent size room.”
