  “Mumbai Indian Kitchen is our local curry house and they have never failed us. The curry is always hot, fresh and delicious. The staff are also so welcoming and generous. We have asked many times for requests to curries and they are always willing to help meet it as best as they can. Their delivery time is super fast too! I couldn’t recommend them enough.”

  “The food is excellent, but prices in the online menu do not match those in-store. Moreover, the stated 10% discount for cash on collection does not apply to the set menus. This is not stated on the menu. Hence what I thought would be a £23.95-10%=£21.56 set meal for 2, turned out to be a £25.99 meal - that's a big markup! Update 26 July: The online menu is still showing the old prices”

  “Best curry in Southampton. The quality of food will not disappoint you! Azad and his crew always deliver top-notch food. It's always very fresh, hot, tasty and plentifiul. Real pieces of chicken breast and melt-in-the-mouth lamb. The flavours have been consistent, as have the quality. We don't go anywhere else!”

  “Best curry takeaway/delivery in Southampton. Great food, great service by a lady and the Bengali owner on the phone, quick delivery of piping hot food. Food is always great, fresh with tender meat and properly cooked gravy/spices! Regularly been ordering every other week for the last 5 years now!!!”

  “Worst Food ever. We order a take away on 31st of December. It literally spoiled our new year 2024 we couldn’t eat the food at all . They gave mouldy naan, instead of pilau rice they gave chicken rice. Food quality was not even in eatable condition. I would suggest everyone not to order anything from this takeaway restaurant if you are concerned about your health. I am gonna report to council as well asap. This kind of restaurant should be shutdown on immediate bases. This is not at all Indian restaurant they are non-Indians and spoiling india’s name.”

  “Mumbai !! It has it all. As a student this place kicks in nostalgia whenever I order food from here. N number of times. The taste have been consistent and quantity is worth the price. Since living close by going to the place buying fetches you some discount if you pay in cash. That’s my tip for the newbies around. Biriyanis are good choice if you wish to have tummy full! In fact more than that. Priced well . Parathas I have never seen so big even in india. That was the happiest discovery the day ordered it. ! Being regular visitor tried their kings prawns Biriyani, chicken dopyaza, all other Biriyani etc. all have been nice. Keema naan and keema rice are also worth a try. There are many other Indian take always around but Mumbai with its name and my old connection to it even though me being from Kerala makes me go back to this place for its taste and price. Highly recommend. Suggestion to the Owner: Student discount on student id 😜. Well one day I would expect it to be brought it. 😍!”
