Quick info
About Badi Mirchi
Badi Mirchi is an Indian restaurant on Leigh Road in Eastleigh, set across two floors with a ground-floor dining room and an upstairs space that takes private bookings. The kitchen works from a deliberately small menu built around Indian fine dining, covering starters, mains and accompaniments with a takeaway menu running in parallel. The chef works in an open kitchen off the dining room, and the team serves guests across both floors. Payment is by cash or card, and the restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner. A takeaway service runs alongside the dining room, with collection and local delivery to nearby streets. The space is used for private hire on request, and the menu changes seasonally around a short core of regular dishes.

“We ordered and spent a fair amount for our take away. The passanda had 4 pieces of lamb the meat was chewy and it could have been any meat it wasn’t nice at all. The balti had a weird taste to it like like a normal Balti it also had had bits of lettuce mixed in and was very odd. The bhaji were sodden in oil I didn’t eat mine it went in the bin. I contacted just eat to discuss the order and they refused to refund me. I will be approaching the company that supplied the food direct. We wouldn’t order again from here.”

“We had a great Thursday evening meal at Badi Mirchi. Excellent service and a really clean environment (no sticky menus like we have had in other places.) Food was tasty and lovely and hot - would highly recommend.”
