  “Not very impressed with this restaurant whilst the food was of an ok quality the speed of the service was extremely slow, was over an hour before we eventually got to eat our meal and no stock on the drink I wanted purely because they had not ordered it. 1”

  “We live in hamble and this was our first order. We will definitely not be going anywhere else. Amazing food great prices fantastic service from phone call to delivery keep up the great work i would give more then 5* if it would let me”

  “Amazing food cooked to the highest standard, everything from the pakorah to the special massala special curry was out of this world. Drinks choice very good and a nice complementary drink as we finished our meal. Delivery service from here is also very efficient, and delivery staff are always well presented and polite. The Monday and Wednesday Night Banquet is amazing and extremely good value, Best restaurant in the area by far..”

  “Listen...all I have to say about this place is...do not go to any other Indian. There cuisine is amazing. Lovely portion sizes and so much meat in the curry (if you have meat that is). Look I'd eat my words...in place of the curry...if you have a bad meal or find a better one in Southampton. Not just the food thats amazing but the staff are too. Polite amd attentive. They do deliver but some days are 100% busier than others leading up to waiting times of over two hours potentially. Better of collecting if you can but they are very popular and very apologetic if wait times are going to be long. Also, not open on a Tuesday unfortunately!!! Only bad thing I can say about that haha.”

  “We came to “Massala” with my husband and friends for a dine in. We had a wonderful time. Our friends highly recommended this Indian cuisine. It’s not like me to forget to take photographs of what we ate, our company was terrific. We all decided on the buffet option which they do on Mondays and Wednesdays. Comfortable seats. You can tell the restaurant is popular with the locals. We all had starters: poppadums with a chutney tray (mango chutney, lime pickle, onion chutney and mint sauce). Prawn puri, Butty kebab, shami kebab and a mix kebab. Our mains were: Prawn Dansak, Lamb Dansak, 2 Prawn Mahkani, I think. (I’ll double check and edit this review, if I have to.) Sundries: pilau rices and plain naans. Great range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks on the menu. I loved my coffee floater! Thank you so much. At the end of our meal they offered sambuca shots or baileys shots. Definitely will be back! A relaxing ambiance and atmosphere. The restaurant decoration was sharp and clean. I liked the Southampton theme photography throughout the restaurant. Great range of vegetarian dishes as well as fish (on the main menu), lamb and chicken. Also, we walked in, so they accept walk-ins. Attentive staff. Compliments to the chef.”
