Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is what reviewers return to most, from a Turkish breakfast with a personal touch from the chef to scrambled eggs in a very generous portion and a breakfast burrito packed with bacon, sausage, cheese and homemade beans. Close behind are the cakes and bakes, with millionaires shortbread, chocolate brownie and apple cake all declared delicious, and the sausage rolls singled out as well. Lunch gets praise too, including lamb tagine, eggs royale, spiced veg soup and salads with so much flavour. The coffee is described as lovely and served very hot, and staff are repeatedly called friendly, with one server carrying a chair outside for a customer when the café was busy. Criticism is minor. One diner could not taste the scrambled egg in the burrito and found the sausage a little fatty, and another calls the breakfast not cheap. The café fills up on Sunday mornings, and one reviewer was handed complimentary donuts at the end of a breakfast.

“just had a really amazing breakfast here! benny was cooking and doing the coffee all by himself until 9 and he was just amazing! our coffees were served very hot and any pastries were plated with extra berries and sauce, I had the scrambled eggs and the portion size was very generous! my whole experience here was really amazing. Benny deserved any good reviews written about him and deserved every customer to come and help support him! thank you for having us and for the compliment donuts at the end! see you again :)”

“Exceptional service as usual, especially our lovely server who went out of his way to accommodate us (even carrying a chair from inside to the outside area for my partner as all other chairs were being used) when the café was busy. Highly recommend the sausage rolls! Staff are always incredibly helpful and kind. Thank-you! 🌟”
