Customer Review Summary

Beef brisket noodles, especially the version with wontons, are what reviewers raise most, praising the rich broth, tender beef and perfectly cooked wontons, often paired with Hong Kong milk tea. The milk tea itself is described as rich, creamy and brewed with care. Close behind come the curry dishes, with one reviewer calling the curry the star of a pork chop rice and another finding the curry beef with rice even better, the beef falling apart. Hong Kong toast with peanut butter, egg tarts, stir-fried beef ho fun and salt and pepper squid also draw mentions. Several say the flavours recall Hong Kong or Macau, and portions are repeatedly called generous, with one suggesting coming as a group to share dishes. Staff are called friendly and welcoming, and the place clean and tidy. On the downside, one reviewer found the spicy sour noodles with beef brisket not the traditional southwest China taste they expected, and another describes slow service blamed on a short-staffed kitchen. One diner still singled out the pork chop from the mixed grill.

“My new favourite cafe! It's my first time trying Hong Kong toast and I really enjoyed it. The Hong Kong milk tea is really good too, you can tell it's been brewed for a long time and with care. The staff are really welcoming too, and everywhere is really clean and tidy. I'll definitely be back! ☺️”

“Staff are friendly and nice Food are in great quality I had the spicy sour noodles with beef brisket It tastes nice and hot, but it’s not what i expected (i was expecting the traditional taste of spicy sour noodles from SW China, if you expect this, then I’ll suggest you to try other HK style food)”

“Very good lunch spot. Slow service but that's because they were short staffed in the kitchen. Excellent egg tarts and pork chop from the mixed grill”
  • Chris Mole
“Had an absolutely incredible lunch here of beef brisket & wonton soup noodles, with a Hong Kong milk tea - the broth was rich and delicious and the beef was amazingly tender. Good price too for an absolutely enormous bowl of food! Lovely place, highly recommended 🌟”

“Photos simply don’t do justice to how incredible the food is from the newly launched private kitchen menu. Every dish was perfectly cooked, full of authentic flavours, and instantly transported us back to Hong Kong. Portions are very generous, so be sure to come with a group—this way you can share and enjoy as many dishes as possible. Highly recommended!”
