About The Scarsdale Hundred - JD Wetherspoon

The Scarsdale Hundred, a JD Wetherspoon pub on Sevenairs Rd in Sheffield, runs a menu of 20 dishes that includes fish and chips, a large traditional breakfast, and sirloin steak. Curry night is a regular fixture on the schedule. Orders go through the pub's app, which can also be filtered for allergies, and there is no table booking, so seating is first-come on a walk-in basis. The pub opens daily. The layout is open-plan and can get noisy when busy. A step-free, wheelchair-accessible entrance serves visitors with mobility needs, and outdoor seating gives an option for eating outside in warmer weather. Toilets are on the ground level. Free car parking is available outside the pub.

Customer Review Summary

Food quality draws the most comment, and it splits sharply: several diners praise a fried breakfast and curry night as tasty and quick, with one calling the food "delicious" and allergy-friendly with easy app filtering, while others describe cold fried eggs, partially cooked chicken on Friday nights, and one visit with warm chips, cold mushy peas, red-hot scampi and a flat Kronenburg that had to be exchanged. Staff experience is similarly mixed: multiple reviewers single out friendly, accommodating service and quick app-ordered food during a busy curry night, and one names a staff member for excellent customer service, though another describes a recurring "vague flatness" from staff. A few note the ground-floor toilets and ample free parking as pluses, and the open-plan layout gets called out as noisy when full. One reviewer says they won't return after their sticky-table, cold-food visit, while others say they'll keep coming back.

Been quite a few times for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Don't know what happened today but it was bad.. The main problem was it was virtually cold, struggled to eat it. Nothing worse than a freezing cold fried egg

My chips were warm and mushy peas cold the scampi was red hot. I had to take our lager back Kronenburg was flat. Exchanged for a different lager. Table wasn't clean they are always sticky. I don't think we will be going again.

Allergy Approved! Lots of options for all allergies, easily filtering menu on their app. Friendly helpful staff and delicious food to match. Currently they don't allow booking but we found a table easily during the busy lunch period. Even while full it wasn't overly loud - still able to hear one another speak easily. Will definitely be visiting again ☺️

The quality of food is declining recently. This is our regular to go pub on friday nights, We had 2 different times got partially cooked chicken when ordered on Friday night's with beer. The drinks the service the place everything is fine but quality of food is declining. The place has ample of parking and outdoor facilities, a good amount of outdoor seating to enjoy in summer.
