“Boxing day night called time when bar busy at 9-40pm , stopped serving at 10 pm,eight people came in at this time only to be turned away so most of us left to go to to new pub on Sheffield road, where we were welcome,”

“Popped in with My Dog ( Baxter ) to sample the newly refurbished The Crown . Amy ( The Landlady ) , and Andy made Me very welcome and were wonderful hosts . Only had drinks , but will endeavour to return to try the carvery ( which is very popular). A very cosy and friendly village pub offerings warm welcome and some nice beers and ales . Dog friendly ( which is always a plus + )”

“Called in at lunch time and we had their Signature and a Hot Stuff burger. They were both excellent. Very tasty and perfectly cooked. Very good value for money. Very good service. We will definitely be going again. Highly recommend this pub.”

“First time visiting The Crown and came for the Sunday carvery. Fantastic food and probably the best carvery I've had! The staff were really nice and friendly. Dogs welcomed. Outside area for children too. Will definitely be coming back. Oh, and the cobbler was amazing!!”
