  “This was my first visit to the pub, specifically to an arranged event, with great friends. All I can say is that the landlord couldn't do enough to make our afternoon great. Will definitely go back for food again. The buffet that they provided was really good,and enough for most of us to have second's. Highly recommended.”

  “Jamie and the staff are always welcoming. Good food and selection of drinks! My daughter especially loves the strawberry lemonade mocktail. The pub is popular and can get busy but the staff always try to accommodate us regulars even when there are events on.”

  “Another amazing night spent at my no.1 place! 🥰 wholesome family atmosphere and wonderfully friendly and welcoming staff! Will always highly recommend this place, guarantee not to disappoint. Suitable for the whole family,drinks either friends,celebrating or a date night ♥️ Food is amazing,service is quick and accommodates for all your dietary needs.   “We have regular visits to the Pheonix. Every visit, we are well looked after and we find the food and service is always 10/10 and the staff are all friendly. It is a perfect pub that is relaxed and it is a great location. We highly recommend! We highly recommend Macy, who goes above and beyond when we visit as she delivers excellent service.”

  “Lovely place with stunning views in the beer garden. It's best to book in advance as it is pretty busy. I had the mixed grill very tasty but sadly there's was dry instead of runny ( maybe I should have asked for a runny egg but you would expect it to be that way .) My mum had the fish and chips the fish smelled lovely but was dry as was the mushy peas.”

  “First visit to Phoenix, lovely pub a few minutes drive out of town and has a feel of being in the countryside. Good service, good menu and selection of drinks. My only negative was the rib eye steak that my son and I ordered - we asked for medium well but it was definitely overdone. Also my potatoes with mint were lacking mint. Service was good, I was offered another steak but it was a busy night and I didn't want to give the kitchen extra work. I'll be back to give them another try..”

  “We follow google maps drive to here, base on a birthday gift cards , we search few Pub 10miles around . Found this country site Pub . Easy to find, more parking spaces, early evening ( while we on dining it nearly full house ). Decorating more than we expected. Beautiful waitresses with good services . But the surprise is was the offer menu, 2D2M for 20. Bargain than W.spoons 🫢. Surely will return on day times , coz dark evening no view on outside . Thank-you for best serving .”

  “The food is passable at best. We asked for starters and mains to come at the same time and they said yes. The mixed grill, all the meat was luke warm, squid was cold, chicken burger was hot and so was the salmon. Basics again about holding the temperature of food and timing. If ypu can't deliver all food put at the same time and ensure its hot then dont say yes. For pub food the presentation on the lunch menu was pretty poor very much like a large child's portion. There main menu food looked and tastes better, it felt like it was done by two different people. All in all expensive for sub par pub grub. Staff were great with who i assume was the manager ( non uniform) was great. They gave my children done Christmas presents, a colouring book and a word search which was a nice touch. So to sum up, great service average food.”
