  “Absolutely fantastic experience! We had a great mix of food and everything was spot on. The chips were incredible, the BBQ chicken wrap was packed full of flavour, and the steak pie was huge. The fish batter was perfectly done, light and crispy. And the homemade desserts… WOW. Definitely worth a visit 👌🏾”

  “A terrific pub to go and eat. Very modern on the inside whilst retaining the charm of a stone pub on the outside. We managed to get a table as walk ins. During busy times a quick call to check table availability is recommended. There is seating available near the bar on 'posers tables'.Excellent selection of beers and lagers. The menu has a great selection and nice unusual dishes on offer. The portion sizes were to big for us to finish. Very friendly and attentive staff. A credit to the Beehive. Definitely to and visit.”

  “Excellent lunch today, large portion sizes and good value on the lunch time menu. Friendly staff and good service. I go most Friday lunch times with my dad who is Coeliac. Good range of gluten free dishes and beers available.”

  “DO NOT EAT HERE - FOOD POISONING!!! I ate here last week, chicken to be specific, a few hours after eating I became increasingly unwell! Test result from DR confirmed campylobacter, aka food poisoning!!!! I have been so unwell and still recovering a week later. Tried to do the decent thing and call to let them know rather than leave a bad review and I was met with the most rude general manager I’ve ever had the displeasure of speaking with. Answers back such as ‘what do you want us to do’ ‘we’ve had no reports of anyone else being ill’ ‘we have 5 star food hygiene’ - well you clearly don’t… Didn’t even offer a refund!! Instead I was offered a voucher to come back in like I’d ever step foot in this place again. Reported to the council for food hygiene issues 👍🏼 disgusting!!!”

  “Great village pub. Staff were 100% on the ball and the food was spot on. Looking around the place, it seemed to suit all sizes of groups from couple to families. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be visiting again!”

  “Used to ne such a nice place!!! Just been, had booked for my birthday for over a month.When arrived put in dark dingy corner table dirty and food all over floor. Other side of resteraunt where we requested empty and told cant go. Food has gone downhill, won't be returning. Even other tables conplaining about food quality. Avoid at all costs so many better places to go”

  “Have heard a lot about this pub recently so being in the hospitality business myself, I thought I would check it out. Was definitely not disappointed. The premises were clean, tidy and well presented. Received very prompt and efficient service on arrival. The food was absolutely delicious with exceptional portion sizes. Unfortunately no room left for desert. Highly recommend and will certainly be returning 😊”
