The beer earns steady praise too, from an impressive selection of ales to decent real ale and a good range of beers. Close behind are the open fire and cosy feel, plus the events: one reviewer enjoyed a karaoke night, another saw the local Morris side during a visit, and a third came for Friday fish and chips before a gig at the folk club, calling the fish and chips great.
