  “Not been for ages and just popped in for a quick bite. Food to table was much improved and staff were lovely (Andy lovely). Service really good. Beer excellent barrel! Much improved overall from previous visits.”

  “Been tonight and go regularly and noticed it has gone really down hill and obviously been taken over recently. Brought one meal out after 20 minutes out of 8 and the rest 20 minutes later which is disgusting. Was charged £2.95 for a dash of cordial with fizzy water. Chips was dry and hard and wife asked for more gluten free gravy and was waiting over 10 minutes for it and food went cold. Nobody asked if everything was ok like they used to and take the flag with number on. Won’t be returning”

  “The staff are so lovely and attentive. Nothing is too much to ask. The carvery is the best in the area, fresh, loads of options and again the chefs always go out their way to help and are so friendly. We love coming here as a family. Great for kids too with indoor and outside play area.”

  “Food was delicious my only slight criticism is I asked for raw steak and it was more medium to well done, after saying that was still very nice food. The atmosphere was lovely. The drinks reasonably priced, and all the staff are so friendly. Our server Beth was particularly lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The puddings are amazing. Would definitely recommend to everybody.”

  “We love monks bridge farm the only reason I gave it four stars is the fact I'm a vegetarian and every time I go the only thing I can choose is a cheese pie , prior to that is was another chocie overly large as well , enough for a football team it was so big . It's 2026 and so many people have opted to not eat meat so you would think there would be a better option . Now the manager was so good and they allowed me to have veggie sausages I was more than happy, but a chain this size with a large footfall of customers you would expect a little more choice . The roast potatoes are the best followed by the parsnips the choice on the carvery self serve is the best by far . Just sort the veggie options and I will take that to five stars . I do believe a new menu was on its way so next time I'm in hopefully I can come back and amend my review. Highly recommend the carvery very nice indeed .”
