  “We love monks bridge farm the only reason I gave it four stars is the fact I'm a vegetarian and every time I go the only thing I can choose is a cheese pie , prior to that is was another chocie overly large as well , enough for a football team it was so big . It's 2026 and so many people have opted to not eat meat so you would think there would be a better option . Now the manager was so good and they allowed me to have veggie sausages I was more than happy, but a chain this size with a large footfall of customers you would expect a little more choice . The roast potatoes are the best followed by the parsnips the choice on the carvery self serve is the best by far . Just sort the veggie options and I will take that to five stars . I do believe a new menu was on its way so next time I'm in hopefully I can come back and amend my review. Highly recommend the carvery very nice indeed .”

  “Food was delicious my only slight criticism is I asked for raw steak and it was more medium to well done, after saying that was still very nice food. The atmosphere was lovely. The drinks reasonably priced, and all the staff are so friendly. Our server Beth was particularly lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The puddings are amazing. Would definitely recommend to everybody.”

  “Came here for a £7.99 breakfast buffet and was really surprised . It was fresh, hot, decent eggs, proper beans. Toaster took a millennium though”

  “The staff are so lovely and attentive. Nothing is too much to ask. The carvery is the best in the area, fresh, loads of options and again the chefs always go out their way to help and are so friendly. We love coming here as a family. Great for kids too with indoor and outside play area.”

  “Visited on a Thursday evening. Good crowd and a quiz night with a number of games. Great fun and the quiz master was so friendly. And we won a prize! We had veggie chilli which was delicious and the portion was large. It is also gluten free so great for my friend. Drinks service was slow and there was quite a queue at one point. Solution was to order from the tanle QR code...nice and easy. New bar person in training was really upbeat and friemdly even though clearly new. Overall a great visit. Not been for ages but will ve back”

  “We come here regularly. On this occasion we came for my dad's birthday. Seated out of the way and in a quiet area. Our service was brilliant too. Andy looked after us and was lovely! Very fun and easy to talk to. Made my dads birthday meal!”

  “Visit for Christmas Dinner a family of 5 also celebrating 2 birthdays. Soon we walk through the door we was greeted at the host point by a guy who was pleasant and smiling he took us to our table and told us once we got our drinks and settled the waitress will be over. We received our starter in less than 5 minutes and from that moment the service was Amazing all the way through. The staff was so polite, happy and made our afternoon a breeze. The food was very good but my nut roast was over cooked so hard to cut, Brussels was hard apart from that Amazing. Never been out for Christmas lunch before but think this will be a thing from now on . Many Thanks to each and Everyone of the Staff for all the hard work.”
