“Simply put, this pub should not be open. Me and some family members heard the loud revelling from the nearby kebab house and decided to have one last drink before calling it a night. We initially struggled to even open the door to the pub but when we did manage to force it wide enough to squeeze in, we found some chap laid out on the floor like a 6ft draft excluder. We slid him to the side and made our way to the bar. Despite the loud music from the DJ, I could still hear the sticky floor gripping my feet as if it were alive. To our horror, there was a shirtless guy behind the bar drinking directly from the draft tap before the barmaid swatted him away with a chuckle, and ushered him off to a backroom. She was very polite and commented that he used to run the place but was now just a regular, to which I replied, he seemed quite irregular to me. She poured us three pints from another tap before going off in the same direction of the shirtless guy, where loud shouting and cursing could soon be heard. The price of the alcohol was very reasonable, but I wondered if that was so booze was drunk and folks forgot where the hell they were, and the place was actually pretty busy with what looked like locals. I didn't realise that smoking inside was still legal but everyone seemed to be puffing away merrily. One hefty female who looked like she had more kids than teeth was even smoking two cigarettes at the same time; I was morbidly impressed. We finished our drinks and were about to leave to get supper, but my decision to use the bogs for a quick leak proved fatal for my appetite. Besides the indescribable stench coming from the sole cubicle, there appeared to be a large chunk of flesh in the urinal bowl, which danced for me as the stream of urine bounced off it. I'll never know how I kept my beer down, but eating was the last thing on my mind as I left. I suggest this place is razed to the ground and replaced with a sign saying 'Sorry'. To put it mildly, the Three Ferrets is a bit rough.”
