About Henry’s
Henry's is a guest house on The Terrace in Saint Ives, set in a building whose dining room faces the bay and opens at the back onto tropical gardens above the beach. The kitchen runs a menu shaped by the coast, from grilled sardines and crab soup to fish and chips, with beef stew and green beans for those wanting something heartier, and a raspberry and pistachio pavlova to close. The dining room looks out across the seafront, and the gardens at the rear give guests a quieter place to sit between meals. Service is walk-in throughout the day, and the house also operates as a small bar and restaurant in its own right.

“Beautiful Cosy B&B, with 5 star service and Michelin starred level of food. Location is great, a little noisy but that's downside of being in the very convenient location. The room was beautiful and clean. Staffs are very professional and friendly, we were able to feel relaxed in the restaurant at all time. The food there is obsoutely amazing, grilled sardines and crab soup were just amazing. Breakfast is heavenly delicious. Bravo to the management, all the staffs are professional and attentive, only people who truly enjoy their job could perform this way. We will certainly come back ! Thank you all again for providing such nice experience in St Ives.”

“We went to Henry's for cocktails and a meal. Beautiful hotel with a lovely dinning room. The cocktails were amazing and food was delicious. Great views from the dinning room of Porthminster beach. A great choice of food. We had the fish and chips and beef stew with green beans and the raspberry and pistachio pavlova . The desert menu could of been bigger as there was no chocolate option. Only thing we would recommend is bar snacks with the cocktails. We will definitely return soon. Thank you Henry's!”

“5/5 Stars DO NOT MISS THIS RESTAURANT Henry’s at St Ives is a hidden gem that has just opened in July 2026, and it already feels like something truly special. The food quality is every bit as good as fine dining, with every dish cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The cocktails, made by Will, were amazing and added so much to the overall experience. The highlight of the night was Head Chef Lawrence, who delivered a dining experience that was out of this world. Every dish was appreciated, beautifully put together, and clearly made with real care and skill. I also didn’t realise how handsome the head chef was, which was a very welcome bonus surprise. Will really took care of us throughout the evening and made sure all our drink requirements were handled to perfection. What makes Henry’s even more impressive is the value, the prices are fantastic and very similar to what you’d find around the waterfront, yet the quality, taste, and experience are on a whole other level. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next time I’m back it’s fully booked and possibly even carrying Michelin stars. If you can, definitely book a table by the window overlooking the beach and St Ives seafront, it makes the experience even better. We’ll definitely be returning.”

“We recently had a family ‘Celebration of life’ at Henry’s. For such an important and poignant day, we could not have asked for more. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views across St Ives bay and the most beautiful tropical gardens to sit and enjoy at the back. The staff and service were gold standard, second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was stunning, with a fantastic selection For everyone to enjoy. Henry’s is fantastic, a real St Ives gem and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you so much!”

“A most enjoyable dining experience at Henry’s restaurant. Small, cosy, with sweeping views of Porthminster Beach and the vast blue sea beyond, this gem of a restaurant serves effortless but delicious food from local ingredients. Skip the busy harbourfront and go straight there!”
