  “We went to Mill About for brunch, to celebrate a family members birthday. There is a huge carpark to the front. I had asked about reserving a table on the morning of our visit but was told that they were no longer taking any telephone bookings, but to turn up. There were 6 of us and we got seated immediately. The place is set in part of a former mill and the interior is relaxing, quirky and interesting and sympathetic to its industrial heritage. It is worth having a little look around inside before (or after) you eat. The staff were all friendly and, after we'd eaten, came out with cake (and a candle) whilst playing Happy Birthday, which was a lovely touch. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, the venue is beautiful inside and the atmosphere is both welcoming and relaxed. Definitely worth a visit.”

  “This was a great place to meet up with my daughter...it's a big mill how could I miss it for the last 10 years? I think from the road it looks like converted flats not cafe/ bike biz / wine bar etc. eclectic mix of decor and wall art. Prices good.”

  “After a stressful morning we were looking for somewhere to have a quick lunch before driving home when we came across Mill About. Not what we expected to find. What a great place. Great use of part of the mill with a film/music themed decor. It wasn't too busy for a late Friday lunchtime. Friendly staff. As it was hot day we tried a couple of the salads which were very good. We had to get away so didn't try thr great selection of cakes this time but we will be back for sure. Only minor criticisms would be the metal chairs are uncomfortable as not wide enough (I'm fairly normal size) and service could have been a little more attentive. Happy to recommend to anyone wanting tasty breakfast/lunch time food in a great environment.”
