Customer Review Summary
Coffee is the most frequent draw. Reviewers praise a signature latte topped with latte art and a cappuccino, and one calls the coffee second to none. Breakfast sits close behind: a smoked salmon dish one visitor rated the best they had ever eaten, homemade artisan bread with a lovely orange egg yolk, and breakfast sandwiches. A high cocoa hot chocolate wins over a self-described picky drinker, and others mention a wrap, tea and cakes. The staff are repeatedly described as friendly and welcoming, and several note a community feel, with seating outdoors and a conservatory area. Service is called fast even when the cafe is busy. The main criticism comes from one reviewer who found the food mediocre. Their egg royale looked very beige with no greens, and the pastrami burrito was just OK. Another reviewer found the menu limited because of a boiler issue, but the waitress apologised and the treats and drinks they ordered were still lovely.

“Popped in this morning with my mate & the dog. Sat outside & had a couple of coffee's with 2 breakfast sabdwiches. The venue is great, the food & coffee really tasty & great value for money, but above & beyond anything else, the whole team are genuinley welcoming, engaging & friendly. Really excellent on all levels !”

“Popped in for a takeaway lunch and a brew as I had a meeting nearby. Was pleasantly surprised how busy it was, had a really lovely friendly atmosphere and full of happy people. I had a wrap, tea and was tempted by the cakes too - all were really excellent food. Definitely a good unexpected find for a Friday lunchtime, thank you!”

“Can't fault this place at all. Lovely little café with a nice community feel. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious and beautifully presented, and they do an amazing cappuccino! It's on a main road so it's nice to just sit there, look out the window and watch the world go by. Will definitely be going again when my friends visit next.”

“The atmosphere was nice and cosy. Specially the conservatory area. Staff were nice and attentive, service was fast. Downside is the food was mediocre 😕. Not much attention to the presentation. My egg royale looked very beige. With no greens even as garnish. The pastrami burrito was also just OK. 5/10.”
