Customer Review Summary
Freshly made food is what reviewers praise most, with a panini, a margarita pizza and crisp onion rings named as highlights, and several calling the kosher menu extensive and suited to families. Close behind are the chocolate croissants and an oat milk caramel latte that one regular finds spot on every time, plus an iced coffee and the espresso variety. Service divides opinion. Several describe the staff as warm, friendly and kind, and one praises a waiter who stayed great under pressure. Others report slow service when busy, a teenage server with a bad attitude, and a wait of several minutes before anyone took an order. Cleanliness draws complaints too, with food on the floor and uncleared tables, and one pair walked out. Out-of-stock items come up, including falafel pita, sabich, quiche and ice cream. One takeaway fish and chips order was described as stale, with cold mushy peas, and another reviewer says the chips are frozen. One diner reports a burnt omelette that was not charged for.

“Service was shocking. A teenage boy served me with a bad attitude, made me feel unwelcome and like I was bothering him my even ordering, no customer service skills whatsoever. I ordered a fish and chips to take away and regretted it. The chips were stale, like they had been cooked twice, almost inedible. Fish had an extremely fishy taste (unlike what white fish should taste like) and they couldn’t even be bothered to remove the skin. Rank. Don’t even get me started on the COLD mushy peas. Most of it went in the bin. How dare they serve this ‘food’ and to top it off disgusting service. Don’t bother trying this place and go to Celia’s kitchen down the road for proper food made with passion and customer service that is second to none. Shame on you noshers 🤢”

“Kosher Brunch, the Pizza leaves much to be desired but the Shakshuka is the best!”

“Popped in for an ice cream in this latest heatwave. And yes, there was air conditioning to boot! The service was top notch and the food high quality. Overall very pleased.”

“Considering it doesn’t cater meat but only dairy prices are disproportionately high and chips are frozen. This quality would be more appropriate from a van at half the price.”
