Customer Review Summary
The rib-eye steak is the dish reviewers return to most, described as well cooked and juicy, served with homemade chips and a peppercorn sauce, and one regular says it has always been delicious. Close behind are the generous portions, with the onion rings singled out as the best one family had ever had, and food described as freshly made and reasonably priced. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and warm, and the live bands draw regular praise. Motorbike-themed decor and bike nights give the pub a loyal biker following, and families mention pool, darts and children playing in the bar. The main complaint comes from a group of 13 at a Mother's Day Sunday lunch. They waited 45 minutes past their booked time for food, then were told at the dessert order that the table was needed back. When desserts had not arrived by then, they asked for them as takeaway, and they felt some staff were rude about their frustration.

“13 of us went for Sunday lunch for mothers day. Table was booked for 2pm, whilst we appreciated that they were very busy we waited to be served our lunch 45 minutes later. The food was amazing but service was very poor. We then asked to order desserts at 3.40pm and was told that they needed the table back at 4pm. At 4pm we were still waiting for our desserts and was told that they needed the table back at 4pm to which we asked for the desserts for takeaway. Some staff were rude in presentation and could'nt understand why we were a little annoyed. Will not be visiting this premises again”
