Customer Review Summary
Opinions split sharply on this Trallwn Rd chippy. Several reviewers praise the seniors fish and chips as freshly cooked and among the best they've had in years, and delivery orders are repeatedly described as arriving hot and quick, with one reviewer singling out the lamb donner wrap. But a recurring complaint centers on quality and value: one reviewer found potato black eyes in the chips and bland, breadcrumb-heavy rissoles with barely any meat, another describes a chicken pie that was "basically just the crust," and a third got soggy chips and was given curry sauce instead of the gravy ordered. Pricing draws frequent frustration too, with one longtime customer charged £29.60 for a usual order and told only that "prices had gone up," and another calling a £17 charge for chips, sausages, and drinks "disgusting." Chips specifically split reviewers, some finding them fresh and good portioned, others describing them as dried out, crusty, and hard to chew.

“Not very good. Chips were ok but had lots of potato black eyes. Price is average but they seem to use very cheap ingredients and quality isn't there. Rissoles are home made and very bland and tasteless. Even found a full chip inside one. Full of potato and very grey looking. Hardly any meat or spices. Outer breadcrumbs tasted old and as if they'd been left to stand for ages. Won't be back in.”

“Very disappointed tonight. Went to get our usual (3x rissoles, 1x Small cod, 1x fish bites, 1x large chips) to be charged £29.60! Far, far more than usual. When questioned was just told with a shrug that the prices had gone up. Notice of the price hike would have been nice.”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
