  “We popped in for some food on the off chance and were so glad we did! Our server, Liv, was an absolute pleasure. She was friendly, funny, and enthusiastic, making jokes and creating such a welcoming atmosphere. She checked in with us regularly and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure our table had a great experience. Her service was outstanding, and people like Liv are a real credit to the business. We had a lovely experience and would definitely come back!”

  “We had such a lovely experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waiter. He was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. His friendly personality, professionalism, and excellent customer service made our meal even more enjoyable. It's rare to come across someone who clearly takes so much pride in their job and makes customers feel so valued. Frankie is a real credit to the restaurant!”

  “Good place to eat. Good food at reasonable price nothing to be blown out of your mind. It was hot on the day I went, there were flies all around the food and for some reason AC's were not cooling. I am sure it will be better in cooler days.”

  “Welcomed by Lisa and was amazing! I Only booked my reservation a day late by my error, Lisa was very understanding and still managed to get us a table on a friday night!!! Thank you Lisa much appreciated !!! Then at table served by charlie,,, great customer speedy and polite service. Very helpful nothing wasnt too much trouble. Salad bar refilled regular which is fantastic and fresh. unfortunately our closest harvester merthyr got closed down. We are happy to drive here if the food and service continues 😁 a great friday night! Thank you both”

  “Well the service was brilliant, we were served by Charlie..a credit to you, cheery, happy and made our stop more enjoyable. She, however dropped a knife and a joke was made about her knife throwing act was rubbish.. she was brilliant. Food was amazing plates could not be finished, we recommend the chicken gravy.. it was awesome..”

  “Ordered the fish chips n peas. The chips were dry and cold. The fish was full of oil! The mushy peas were hard. Probably the worst fish n chips ever so didn’t eat it! Then Apple pie with custard was a plate with a microwaved soft pastry with burning apple that was over heated to boiling point!”

  “Rather disappointing. On arrival we were made to sit in the bar area as there were no tables "available" in the restaurant area. This meant sitting on high stools at a poseur style table which wasn't very comfortable. On ordering at the bar we were told the two menu items we wanted - original combo and mixed grill - weren't available as there was no chicken left, even though it was only 5.30 in the afternoon. Ordered a steak and rack of ribs as second choice. Meals took around 40 minutes to arrive which seemed long for grill orders. Steak was fine but ribs were very greasy. Cutlery in the pot on the table wasn't very clean. The Harvester offering feels dated and a bit stale these days. A free salad for starters isn't much of a usp any more. Whole chain could do with a makeover.”
