  “I haven’t been here in years! And tonight me and my girlfriend had the best time it was brilliant! Food was 10/10 and the staff was top notch, we was served by Ellie and she was very helpful with everything especially as I’m fussy with food! Highly would recommend coming here for a night out!”

  “The service is great the cocktails are nice but they are delivered very slowly on the bottomless brunch. So you do not get the feeling its bottomless. I would also say the core selection of cocktails are super sweet and not very boozy on the bottomless brunch menu. The best cocktails they do are not on the brunch menu. The cocktails onthe standard cocktail menu are excellent but they are also very expensive one round for 4 people will cost you over £50. I would recommend the potato and eggs on the brunch menu.”

  “We had such a fun experience during our visit! The mocktails are always spot on, they still really deliver what The Alchemist is well known for. Everyone around us also seemed to be enjoying the endless possibilities. And thank you for providing really great mocktails, this way you feel that you’re not missing out. With a new menu on offer we felt we had more food options this time around, great! But the best part was meeting Ally, who looked after us like we were her only customers, even though the restaurant was so busy. She made us feel so very welcome and our orders were all perfect, she was just fabulous!”

  “The service was friendly enough but I got frustrated towards the end as even though it was quite quiet, three separate bar staff missed me and served others first who had joined the queue for a drink after me. Drinks were theatrical enough but I've been to much better places with much better drinks at much better prices. If you're in Oxford and want a bit of so showmanship for a drink then come here but it is wasn't good enough to encourage me to visit a second time.”

  “We went for breakfast on Mother’s Day after we couldn’t get into The Breakfast. We order the Alchemist breakfast which is their take on the full English. I also ordered halloumi on the side. I wish I would have taken a photo of it. The halloumi was very thin and two small triangles. The breakfasts came out cold and we sent them back. The sausage was the most anaemic-looking thing I’ve ever seen. It didn’t have the normal well done skin on the outside. I had to check and see if it was cooked and it was. The sourdough toast was too over-toasted. The best thing I had was the smoking Moroccan tea. It was very good but also lukewarm. I don’t know if the kitchen isn’t big enough or there are too few staff moving the orders to the table when they are ready. I won’t be making a return trip for breakfast. I’ve been in the Canary Wharf branch in London for cocktails and that was fun.”

  “What an incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel right at home, even without a booking. Big shoutout to Alek and his colleague for their top-notch service, polite, professional, and just the right amount of attentive. The food was delicious, the drinks were spot on, and the atmosphere was perfect. Honestly, it was the best service we've ever had, and I can't wait to come back. Bravo to the whole team!”
