  “Love six by Nico, every time we come here, the food is delicious and the staff are, friendly and professional. We had the Amalfi coast 6 plate menu with cocktail pairing and it did not disappoint. Everything tasted amazing and the cocktails were paired perfectly. Would highly recommend it”

  “It was absolutely fantastic. Loved the street food menu! It was our first time visiting six by Nico and we weren’t disappointed! 10 courses of pure joy. We added the sourdough bread to start, but halfway through we realised it wasn’t necessary as they were incredibly filling. Georgie was a fantastic server - so kind and so knowledgeable about the different courses. We visited for my boyfriend’s birthday and the ambience couldn’t be more perfect. We’ll for sure be back!”

  “Great food and fun. We went on a busy and sunny evening. Sitting outside looking over the Oxford sky line was fab! It was also understandably very popular and staff did a great job ensuring everyone had a seat, table and a view. The food (which was Amalfi Coast) was great. The egg being a highlight. The layout of the restaurant is such that all the tables seem like good ones offering space, a good view and some privacy. A final shout out to the guy behind the bar, who was clearly busy all night, but remained cheery and still made an old school Long Island Ice Tea, even though it wasn’t on the menu. Overall a fun celebration was made even better by great food and really good staff.”

  “Last night we had the pasta menu, which was really good! But the star of the show was our waiter, Georgie. I worked in hospitality for many years in the most luxury hotels and restaurants, and I would hire him on the spot any day. Great service, perfect level of interaction, very knowledgeable, and one of the most important skills in hospitality: recognising and addressing customers needs even before the customers realised themselves. Although he's only worked in hospitality for 9 months, he shows the skills of someone with years of training and experience. We come by fairly regularly and I hope we get enjoy your service more often. Also, kudos to whoever trained Gerogie. Well done! Ps: all staff was great, Georgie just completly stood out.”

  “The food at Six by Nico was absolutely lovely, no faults at all on that front. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming throughout, which made for a great atmosphere. However, there was a noticeable issue with service between the third and fourth course where we experienced a very long delay. By this point, we had already finished our wine pairing and ended up having to ask what was happening. As we had a concert to get to, and had already been in the restaurant for two hours, we asked if the remaining courses could be brought out together. To be fair, the team did try their best to accommodate this, and we completely understand that good food takes time. Unfortunately, we still ran out of time and ended up requesting the bill after the fifth course, missing the final dessert and wine. The restaurant kindly deducted £35 from the bill, which we appreciated. It’s just a shame, as we’ve never had this kind of experience at Six by Nico before. Overall, fantastic food and lovely staff, but the delay did take the edge off what is usually a great experience.”

  “It was brilliant from the second we arrived. They put us on the rooftop terrace with a free Prosecco each while our table was prepared. Phoebe served us throughout the meal - she was amazing, super friendly and had a good laugh with us. She was very informative about the individual courses and allowed us to make small changes (whippy with fries :) appreciate it!) What a superstar! Mitop brought us some drinks and had a good chat about F1. Mate, Hungary GM race day tickets are £168 - Treat yourself, you deserve it for working Father's day when you were meant to be off! We also had the pleasure of a brief conversation with Freya.. We impressed her with our classroom graffiti skills :D Thank you everyone. It really was a superb dining experience.   “We did the Seoul menu and it was honestly incredible, the staff at the Oxford one were beyond the London ones we’ve been to! They were so attentive and knowledgeable. The food was top notch fr start to finish, we also enjoyed being able to pick a Korean beer off the menu rather than doing the pairing. The timings were great and we didn’t feel rushed, the only thing for me to improve would be more matcha flavour in the dessert as there wasn’t enough of this for me and it was too white chocolate led but the food was phenomenal, cannot recommend enough! Special mention to Harry and Miri who were brilliant. I love this restaurant as they are always ahead of the trends, as a foodie I love it, we will be back soon!”

  “I went when the ‘Chippie’ menu was available. Absolutely fantastic dining experience. The food was exceptional and beautifully prepared, the flavours were insane. The level of quality is easily comparable to what you'd expect from a fine dining restaurant, but without the premium price tag. Every dish felt special and thoughtfully crafted. The service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always seemed to be there exactly when needed without being intrusive. Because it’s a set menu our first course arrived within five minutes of us sitting down. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the dishes and explain them fully when serving them.”

  “Such a cute little gem. The vibe is cozy, romantic, and perfect for a girls’ night or date night. From the moment I walked in, it felt warm and welcoming. The staff were sweet, attentive, and made everything so easy. Every dish — from the onion soup to the tartare — was fresh and beautifully done. The fish and pepper chicken were comforting and full of flavor. And the crème brûlée? So good. I couldn’t leave without trying the Parisian hot chocolate — rich and dreamy. Everything felt thoughtful but still relaxed. I already can’t wait to go back. 💕”
