“Great prices and great food. It is a family owned and operated business. It looked like mother and daughter working the front and father was cooking. We ordered the traditional Kung pao and it was nice and spicy. Everything was delicious! If you are hungry for Chinese food in Oxford, go here! “Fantastic meal. The boiled beef in chilli broth (水煮牛肉) was outstanding, tender beef in that signature numbing broth, and they nailed our mild spice (少辣) request perfectly. The century egg tofu (皮蛋豆腐) was delicious too, silky tofu with century egg, though it arrived a touch too warm to really count as a cold dish (凉菜). Lovely service and generous portions. Only downside was the lack of air conditioning.”

“This is my favourite restaurant in Oxford, and I go there at least once a week even after they shifted locations. The food is really authentic and homemade as the restaurant is run by two couples. The fried aubergine, potatoes and peppers (地三鲜) is a must-try as they are starchy and crispy, and the fine beans (干煸四季豆) are also really well-seasoned. No other Chinese restaurant in Oxford compares in terms of quality and value and you must definitely give it a try!”
