Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the food and its portions, with the salmon singled out as stealing the show at one table alongside Cajun honey chicken sandwiches. Others name a brisket rag pudding with chips and mushy peas, wings, steak loaded fries and the chicken. Several say they could not finish their plates and took leftovers home, and a few call the value good. The staff are described as friendly, helpful and chatty, and one diner says food arrived hot and quick despite a busy room. The function room draws separate praise, with one reviewer holding a 70s disco birthday and another a wedding where the team handled allergies and helped with decorations and layout. The main caveat is the building itself: one diner finds the pub looking tired, with seating that needs recovering and walls that want a fresh coat of paint, though the outside seating at the front gets a mention. A family charity day with a bouncy castle, face painting and a band packed the place out, and one reviewer left happy with a pint that was crisp.

“1st time at streetbridge , won’t be my last. Staff, service, great. …. was very busy, ( probably cause of weather) Food OMG Ordered wings starter, then steak loaded fries, Never thought the portions would be as good as they were… couldn’t finish. Defo going again”

“Every time I went to the toilets, there were groups of lads taking drugs in plain sight, not even in the cubicle. There were so many jaws swinging, I thought there was a bell ringing competition but no…”

“Table for 6. Came in tonight to catch up with family as we are visiting from Australia. Was recommended the food & it did not disappoint. I had booked but arrived 20 mins early & our table was ready. Everyone had a great meals. I had the Brisket Rag Pudding & was delicious & obviously a lot of effort in the making. The chips, Mushy peas ( my choice rather than garden ) Chips instead of mash. Worth the £13 for sure.. Drinks were reasonable too. Staff very attentive & chatty. Only down fall is I think it the pub could do with a bit of an upgrade as looking a bit tired ( some seating needs recovered & a lick of paint/freshen up ) other than that all good. Good amount of outside seating at the front too. All in all a good night.”
