About Huddl

On The Poultry in Nottingham, Huddl is a pub with football screens throughout the bar, and one is visible from every table. Interactive electronic darts boards sit alongside the screens. Table pods with TVs seat four or six, which suits groups watching together. Each table has a "turn the light on for service" light, so guests can signal the team from their seat. Bottomless brunch runs for 2 hours and includes drinks and a meal. It is booked in timed slots, with last drink orders taken shortly before the end. The kitchen also serves vegan and vegetarian options, including a protein bowl with crispy tofu.

Customer Review Summary

Bottomless brunch is what most reviewers come for, and the majority describe drinks that never stopped flowing, a wide range including the rumbungo, and quick, friendly table service. Several call the selection of food and drinks good value. Food draws a more mixed response. One reviewer found the dishes fresh and hot, and another enjoyed a protein bowl with crispy tofu, but the salt and pepper fries arrived with no salt or pepper, covered in soggy red pepper and onion, and another found the chips served in a pot far too small a portion. The sharpest complaint comes from one group who waited a long time for a first order, were ignored with the service light on, managed only five drinks, and had their table cut short for another party. Two reviewers also note the music and crowd getting very loud on busy football nights. Reviewers also mention interactive darts boards and TV pods, and one says staff brought water for their dog immediately.

“I left this review on “design my night” and was told it was being looked into. I’ve still not heard any updates after a few weeks though. I’ve done a couple of bottomless brunches at huddl previously and had fantastic experiences, both occasions we had around 14 drinks! When we arrived this time we were told it was now limited to 12 drinks which is fair enough! We were a group of 4 people so not a large party and it was really quiet in the venue with only one other group of around 8 people doing the bottomless brunch at the same time, and around 3 small groups of people just in the bar drinking. We arrived at 6:30 and didn’t get our first drink order taken until around 6:45, it then took another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive. This kind of service continued all night. Even when we had our “turn the light on for service” light on, we were ignored. Overall we only had 5 drinks which is a huge disappointment. Our brunch was booked from 6:30-8:30, at 8 the server came and told us that management don’t allow any drink orders to be put through 20 minutes before the end so took our last drinks order, she also told us that they needed the table for another party at 8:30 so we had to cut it short! Overall this was a huge disappointment and I would NOT recommend Huddl for a bottomless brunch, awful value for money and poor service. Go elsewhere!”

“Stopped in for a quick lunch as this place is dog friendly. There are lots of options for vegan/vegetarians. I had the protein bowl with crispy tofu which was really good. It's decorated nicely in there and seems like a good spot if you want to get together with friends. There are a couple of interactive electronic darts boards with games, and there are also pods that have TVs that can sit 4-6 people. Staff brought over water for our dog immediately as well, which was very much appreciated.”

“So the salt & Pepper, skin-on Fries have no salt OR (black) pepper on them. Instead covered in soggy red pepper and onion?? 2 stars because the staff are LOVELY! Bless them, must be rough in here😂😂😂😂. Also Lots of football screens for the lads, one visible from every table if you fancy some sports. But why are the salt and pepper fries so unbelievably disappointing!!!!!!!! My eye dropped a tear when they arrived.”
