  “A fantastic local pub with a great atmosphere, a wide variety of food and drinks, and plenty of live sport to keep everyone entertained. Whether you’re popping in for a bite to eat, a few drinks with friends, or to catch the latest game, it’s a brilliant place to spend time. A special mention has to go to Mark and Kaya, who are both fantastic members of staff. They’re friendly, welcoming and always help make the experience that little bit better. It’s great to have a pub like this locally, with something for everyone. Highly recommend a visit”

  “Had a fantastic meal with the famalam. Great food and fantastic service tonight. Not seen this particular server before, however 10/10 for their attentiveness, fantastic attitude and communication. Experience really shows and you should be proud!”

  “We attended on a Thursday evening and took advantage of the BOGOF burgers as well as the chick and mix all were very good value. My son has a nut allergy and after speaking with Fiona who I might add was most helpful regarding the ingredients check. This put us at ease with his order which was a great reassurance The meals arrived hot and were very tasty. The desserts were amazing also The whole experience was very good for a midweek meal and the experience from all the staff from bar staff to serving staff was first class. Would definitely revisit. Thanks all”

  “Really enjoyed our visit. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the garden was beautiful and well kept. A great place to relax, enjoy some good food, and spend time outdoors. Definitely worth a visit!”

  “Lovely place. I visit regularly with my invalid brother. Everyone - staff and clientele - are always friendly and helpful. Good food. Lagers and Ales always on top form. The pub is always spotlessly clean; and there is a nice garden with a decent covered area. As if that was not enough, every single member of staff is genuinely welcoming, friendly and helpful.”

  “Wonderful friendly and very helpful staff. The food was OK for a chain pub and well priced. Lovely very large beer garden with masses of tables and chairs. Dog friendly. TV screen outside under cover. Had a cheese beef burger with breaded chicken breast, (they were out of fries) with potato tots and onion rings. A regular coke. £14.14 I think it was... Thanks for the reply "Natasha & team!" It WAS a glorious couple of days, so I can well understand why you were busy! However I wasn't complaining at all, because a friendly young lady (with some nice tattoos, & who is a dog lover with Teddy and Bear French bulldogs 😉, to help identify her so you can give her, a well deserved, pat of the back) set my expectations correctly on what to expect as soon as I made enquiries about whether I could order directly from the table outside or not. ie she then informed me you were out of fries and to expect a 45 minute wait for the food. No worries said I. After we placed our (separate orders) staff came to our table and asked what we would like in stead of fries. Our food was delivered within about ONLY 15 minutes of ordering! I was well impressed and no apology is necessary, as far as I am concerned!”

  “We have recently hosted a charity event at The Whitehills. Tasha was so accommodating and supportive, giving us a welcoming space to host our event. The team were brilliant and friendly as always. After such a great experience, we decided to host a family gathering for our little baby recently. Again, we were given a fantastic space to use and the staff were very welcoming. Food was lovely and served quickly. We all had a great time and will definitely use The Whitehills for future events.”

  “Updated from previous review: Service is still really good and it has a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were really helpful and polite (thank you Callum!). The food came within about 20 minutes which tasted hot and fresh and the children enjoyed the outdoor play area. We'll definitely come back again for some of the mid-week deals they have on. Good food and friendly service. We had a long wait of about 45 mins for food but the staff informed us of that, and we did have a table of 10. The food was served hot and delicious and good portion sizes! There was a nice relaxed atmosphere and we didn't feel rushed to leave. Good place for families and friends.”
